No Cooking Manual .Would be nice to know what temps and dials to use...Very unhappy

The manual should have included recommended cooking temperature settings for different foods. There were none to be found.

Would be nice if you were able to buy extra burner plates for it so you could have two flat plates to be able to cook bacon, hashbrowns, eggs, as well as pancakes for a family of five while it is in griddle mode.
Stainless Steel Super Grill by Sharper I
I have used this grill for panani sandwiches and it makes them perfect - crispy on the outside and warm on the inside. A sandwich is finished in five minutes or less. I havent used the waffle maker yet, but if it works like the panini grill, it will make great waffles.
All-in-one, perfect!
I was looking for something that would do everything and this was it. It stays on the counter and I just switch out the cooking plates. Love it!

Great Waffle Maker!!!
I have only made waffles so far in this machine, which is why I only gave it 4 stars so i cannot attest to how well the grill or flat iron work. We have made plain, chocolate chip & blueberry pancakes so and all have been amazing. The waffles cook evenly and they turn the perfect color of golden brown. We initially ordered this waffle maker through a 3rd party site because it was slightly cheaper, but the product came without the scraper and one of the knobs was broken; needless to say we returned that item and purchased the product direct from Sharper Image and we couldnt be happier!
A grill that does everything
It was a gift for my gentleman friend who is an accomplished cook and hope he appreciates it.(I think he will)

I originally wanted a dedicated grill, but my parents bought me this unit and it is FANTASTIC!!! I LOVE that it has the interchangable plates. It eliminates the need for 3 different appliances.
Since receiving this gift at Christmas I have made perfect waffles (Bisquick receipe), cuban flat bread sandwiches, ribeye steak, chicken breasts, chicken burgers, and eggs. Everything came out FANTASTIC.
Also, the waffle plates are a bit deeper than my old waffle maker (now handed down to a friend) which made for truly delish belgian waffles.
I didnt find a need for a cooking guide but I do suggest investing in a digital meat thermometer (I already owned one) to ensure complete cooking.
Also, when I cook anything that steams or smokes, I use the unit near my stove so that I can use the hood vent.
Great addition to my arsenal of kitchen appliances!!!!
Great versatile product
I really like the grill. I looked all over for a higher quality product that also made waffles. Food does not stick to the grill/waffle plates and cleanup is pretty easy.
Has major flaw
I enjoy cooking weith this grill and the quickness things are done. HOWEVER the one major flaw I have is that the top grill plate does not stay attached to the unit. When you lift the lid to remove cooked items it stays on the food. A few times it was attached when lifting the top but just as I got my hand in to remove food the top grill fell off the unit and landed on my hand. All plates that come with the grill do the same thing so apparently the flaw is with the catch in the unit itself. I still use the item and just make sure I remember to remove my hand.
Pretty good indoor grill
This product was a gift for my dad, but I had to figure out how to set it up for him. I would have liked it more if the instruction manual had, had something like a cook chart telling you approximate temperature times for certain things and also if the grill plates fit more snug. However, it still cooks pretty well so far (sausage came out great), clean up is easy, and it is definitely a better sandwich grill than my old sandwich grill. I have only had it in my house for a week so hopefully my dad or I will get to cook some actual meat (like steak or fish) on it this weekend.

got the run around
On the back of the instruction manual it says print free recipes go to. I went to they didnt have, sent me to emson and they dont have. They had me write to Emson Corp. Still waiting for answer. Got the run around and no recipes.

This is a well made appliance that is easy to use and easy to clean.
Versatile: simple to use; easy to clean
That grilled lok and taste without having to use a barbecue grill, and without the mess. The fat run-off system is quite sophisticated and effective. The only problem is that the temperature guide isnt adequately explained in the booklet. But once established, it is easy to know the times to grill to perfection.

I actually got 3 grills for Christmas, two of the S.I. Super Grills. Will return one of them and the other brand grill. Works great, no need for multiple appliances that I dont have room for anyway!!
