very poor optics
This was not useful. I had to hand hold it to be able to get the focal length and the quality was miserable. I returned it
Dont buy it
Mirror magnification is very distorted. Cant see anything until you get within an inch or two. Light takes up a portion of the mirror also. I was expecting something like the magnifying mirrors in hotels but this is far inferior. I am returning it.
I will tell my friends about this one.
Love the clarity of this mirror, I use it for eyebrows etc, the light is powerful however it comes with light defusers and I find the defuser for daylight reduces the blinding light. My only complaint is the bulb burned out within the first two weeks luckily it comes with two spares. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the bulb issue.

Most wonderful tweezing light and mirror
This mirror is the best tweezing light/mirror ever. shows every flaw. Women in entire family have one and all love them.
SHARPER IMAGE 15X MIRROR -- BEST EVER
The Sharper Image 15X cosmetic mirror is exactly what I needed. Not only is it wonderful to use when I apply my makeup, but it is also great when I need to do any hair or blemish removal. The mirror is lightweight enough so that I can easily hold it up closer if necessary; the mirror is not bulky; and I can pack it in a suitcase if necessary. I just love it!
Great clarity-dont need to use light
As I mentioned- The clarity is so good that one does not need to turn on the light to preform all tasks

The light at the bottom center is MUCH better than a light that circles the mirror. It is excellent for facial hair! I highly recommend!
Perfect size, the light is great.
Light is very brightand the size is perfect for makeup. Some of these are too small, not this one.

15X is too much
Sharper Image has the best lighted magnifying mirror on the market, in my opinion, in terms of quality of the light. I loved the Sharper Image mirror I had before. But now, I could only buy it with a 15X magnification and it is TOO MUCH. I returned it and bought a different brand where the light isnt as good but the magnification is a more comfortable 10X.
Best Friend once you get over the shock
Wonderful mirror that goes anywhere you do. I use it at home every morning and take it with me when I travel. The light is great and I do not need my eyeglass to see close up details. My makeup has never been put on better and faster. I feel confident when I leave the house knowing that my makeup is on correctly or that I do not have a facial hair that I missed. This has become my best friend.
Help aging eyes
Eye sight is getting bad with age so I love this mirror to find what is bothering my eye. The installed bulb died within a day but it came with a couple of replacements and the 2nd one is doing just fin.
I would buy this product again!
Need to be able to find the light bulbs.
Lighted mirror
I love this mirror. Its really bright and the magnification is awesome. I use it (without my glasses on) to tweeze my eyebrows. I use it almost every day and I have not had any problems with it.

I can see clearly now ..........
Life has made my eye-sight a little less than. Now I can see easily all those little things that I dont want to see (stray wiskers :( ) and remove them easily. Only thing I dont like is where the difuser is located. Not sure where it could be moved to make it better. Hard to see around.
excellent magnification
I have tried various magnifying mirrors over time, which I use to check my skin and my makeup. This one has the best magnification power and the mirror is very clear. I recommend it highly.
