Completes our backyard
We have just finished putting a pool/spa in our backyard. I was flipping through a Sharper Image catalog and saw this cute "rock" speaker and realized we hadnt thought about that as part of our backyard experience. We live in Las Vegas and have landscaped with this exact rock color. It fits so well and looks like it belongs. It has great sound and is so easy to connect. We are even going back for another one so we have stereo. Great buy!!

These speakers ROCK!! Just hook up the blue tooth set them where you want them and start listening. The sound quality is great! For the price you cant get a better speaker for outside and you cant even tell that they are speakers.

GREAT PRODUCT.
I wanted to thank Sharper Image for carrying this great product (Ion Rock Speaker)! After shopping at another online store and receiving two (2) defective ion speakers from them, I decided to try purchasing from Sharper Image. I was not disappointed. This ion speaker even came pre-charged and works like a charm! I absolutely love everything about this portable speaker. I use it primarily indoors but obviously you can use this outside and Im sure the sound will travel and sound good. Good job!

Great sounding speaker
I was visiting my brother when I heared the sound that the rock speaker gave off and was pretty impressed. Althogh, he bought his at Sams club and paid half of what I paid, I was still happy with the price considering I have bought other bluetooth wireless speakers for around that same price that were no where near this quality.
I was very please with how fast the items were delivered. Ordered late Saturday and at my door step when I got home on Wednesday. The speakers were very easy to conntect to my phone; within minues I was jammin to my favorite music. The sound was great
skips like a broken record
Worst speakers! I have a set of rock speakers that have worked tirelessly for me & decided to expand around my house. The other speakers at the back of our property run without fail. These speakers lose the signal so often the music sounds like it plays from a skipping record. I am disgusted that I would need to pay for shipping to return them! Faulty product is the kindest thing I can say about this product. Garbage is most accurate.

Bought this to provid music outside near the pool. Option was to run wires - a big job. Charged this up - turned on my iPhone and followed the quick direcitons to link.

Excellent Product for the Price
Purchased a pair of these to be used around my pool/patio area in the back yard. They were exceptionally easy to link together and then pair with my Android cell phone. The sound that comes from these speakers is excellent and projects well over all of the noise in my back yard. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a sound solution to your backyard without the hassle of wiring a power cable or speaker wire.
Neither speaker worked right out of the box.
We ordered two speakers for our pool area but we could not get either speaker to charge or connect to the Bluetooth on our iPhones or iPads. Set both units back to Sharper Image for refund.
Love this thing!
The speaker looks great and sounds great outside. You need to be careful about placement as the signal from your music device can be interrupted by people walking past, etc. Otherwise, it is perfect for entertaining! We love it.

Great speaker!
So far it seems like a great speaker. The bass is a little weak, but the overall sound is very good. We also have a Beat Box which has stunning bass and sound but also cost over 3 times the price of the rock speaker and cant be used around water. The Bluetooth range seems less than advertised, but still more than sufficient for our backyard pool area. Planning to purchase a second speaker to link. Looking forward to pool season!
