Perfect travel companion
Made Me Look Good
This was the perfect gift for a business associate who is a frequent traveler - and is always impeccably groomed and dressed. He liked it very much. So, not only will it keep him looking good, it made me look good, as well.
Highly Recommended Travel Shaver
I use it for touch up later in the day if I want to look my best and on travel as my Braun Activator, which I love for home use, is inconvenient on longer trips. This travel shaver does the job well enough and is very portable and convenient. And I love the fact it recharges though a USB connection.
I wont buy this again
I bought this for my husband as a gift since his going to be on the road a lot to stay clean but it was just a waist of money because it dont cut no matter what angle u put it at

Nice design, useful to have the usb charger built in. only need a little plug in power to usb adaptor to hook it up into a wall socket.
Good product!
Received as a gift, I shaved a 3 day beard with it and it took quite a while and several passes, more than usual. Probably works best if used daily. Havent used enough to make an educated recommendation but, its portability and apparent power make it a very useful product.

Handy and compact... Like the USB charge feature for travel. I didnt give 5 stars cuz the shaving head isnt best suited for three day or more growth... it still works but more passes are required. Still, Im happy with it.
Great travel razor or for daily use
Great razor for average beards. Cuts clean first time and no repeating over and over. Washes easy and no need to worry about replacing batteries. USB power is new and good to have wherever you are.

Like the USB charger, cannot lose the charger as it is built into the device.
Disliked that foil was dented upon arrival.
Close Shave
I am using the Sharper Image, USB Travel Razor while on the road for over night trips. It has provided a close shave and has runs beautifully. The battery is strong and lasts throughout several shaves without need for re-charging.

Works great, easy to charge up
Ive use this razor for over a year traveling on business. It works very well, I get a good shave and its easy to clean and recharge. I like it so much I just bought one as a gift for a family member. I highly recommend it.
Great value for a compact travel shaver
I tested the battery life, the quality of the shave, the comfort level while shaving and all passed my test with flying colors. The one area Im still evaluating is the durability. Ive ordered cheaper models of this same razor and they didnt last more than a couple of cycles of batter charges. I "feel" that this one will pass my durability test because it handles better than the cheaper models.

Lets be honest....
Its not going to give you the same results of that expensive electric shaver but I wanted something that was compact for travel. I travel with carry-on only and anything that improves that is great. The shave is more than adequate and if you need a touch up for a late night appointment or date, nothing could be handier. The USB charging option eliminates yet another charger and thats a definite plus.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 18yr old son and 23 yr old nephew. They both love "tech" gifts so when I saw this advertised by a tech expert on the Today Show I thought Id give it a try! They both loved it and havent heard any complaints! Great gift!!

Small, light, does the job.
The shaver is very small and light but it shaves in about the same time as my full-function shavers. I travel for business so I have concerns over durability, but I asked for small and light....
There is no trimmer but it seems to do a better job on my neck than a larger one. I think the small radius of the head gets closer.
Only USB charging so plan ahead or youll be moving your laptop across your face with it sticking out. Get a USB extension cord.
Rechargeable razor
It is small, yet does the job. It is easy to charge, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to pack. It would have gotten five stars if it would have had solar cells on the body to charge it as well....cmon engineers!
Compact Power
This razor has more power than a $200 Norelco purchased about 18 months earlier. Small & powerful.
Nice size
I am using the razor daily. I have used a blade for over 50 years so I am adjusting. It is an easy transition with this razor. Since my computer is not on 24/7, the USB charger is a minor inconvenience but I am working around it. An included cord would have been nice but not a deal breaker. I have ordered a second one to be sure I have one charged at all times.

Different powering for older idea
A small lightweight razor like this is just the ticket for those times in my office or on the road when I absent-mindedly rub my face and realize I missed something or my stubble is returning sooner than desired. In my office, I have more access to USB plugs, with electric direct power located in hard to reach or hidden areas. Seems to work okay, though I cant tell yet on how long the power holds.
For charging, I already had a short male to female USB cable of a foot length, so I can sit it on the table while charging with my desktop. Without the cable, Id have it dangling from the computer at odd times, and it seems off-weight balance.
Heres the curious thing, and why I give a 4 star instead of a 5: the instruction manual says as item #2 on the first page, "Use only the charging adapter that is provided by the manufacturer," but an adapter is not provided by the manufacturer. In my car, I have a USB power plug I use with my MP3 player, at home I have a plug I used from my iPad-2, and Ive not had a me
just what I expected
Bought this shaver for my dad, who can buy anything he wants, for christmas. The reason was because one, he is a techie and two, he needed a new shaver. I know he will love this because it is so light weight and small enough for him to pack in his suitcase. He travels a lot and this was my first choice for a gift.

This is great - I got two as a gift, one for the car (I can use at the office too if need be), and one to travel with. They are the size of my iPhone! The photo shows they are compact and they are for sure. Just the perfect size to go anywhere but big enough to hold on to.
