Review Content This is a good product Im using it to print off vacation pictures. A great product! I use the product for instant pictures of family and friends. lots of fun. Love the photo cube printer Prints good pics fast instant gratification very convenient. Fun to have good old fashioned photos for the frig or albums. Nice to be able to share memories PEFECT! This is just what I was looking for! It doesnt require downloading pictures onto my computer. It can be used anywhere and the pictures print up pretty quickly! The images arent quite as sharp-looking as I would like, but for images form an I-Phone, it is great! So far, so good Im a Grandmother, and wanted a way to have photos to set around my condo or on my fridge. I have 4 grandchildren and 3 are teens-lots of social pictures to enjoy. this looked like the perfect way for me to print whatever pictures I wanted without asking the parents to "print" me a picture. The downside is its only one size, but I can adjust. The quality is very good-not perfect. But im having loads of fun, and hope theyll be surprised I have iPhone pictures sitting around the house. Ive already ordered 4 refills. The printer only has about 12 available, so you will need a refill almost immediately. I would definitely recommend it. A Winner! I was pleasantly surprised when my 80 yr old Dad opted for an iphone so he could receive pics of his new Great-Granddaughter. But my Mom was missing out so we got this as a Christmas gift; so she could print as many as she wanted for her photo album. We had them open it early during an out of town visit, making sure they knew how to use it. It was quick, simple, and super easy. They havent stopped thanking us. A Winner!!! Really liked it I use this product for transferring my pics from my Android phone, then take the picture to the local store to make extra prints. It works very well. Dont Bother The product does not work with current versions of Android, so it pops up a message to upgrade firmware using an older Android device. Then, you connect and old version and the instructions are unclear on how to upgrade. An email to the company for support yielded no response. I had a little trouble figuring out how to get it to work- the phone wouldnt register as docking or wouldnt print. If this happens to you- remove phone case, try different outlet, and dock after hitting print on the app. I called to ask for assistance- vupoint was very helpful! Would definitely recommend! Great little printer for your I pad It works great with my I pad but for some reason it does not work with my I phone 5 through all my photos are on my I pad as well so I just use it to print rhe photos it takes a few seconds to start but then the blue light on the printer starts to flash then in about 10 seconds the photo will start to print it will come out and back in 4 times before it is done but it does a great job. Its really convenient! its really easy to use. it only takes one minute to print. and the quality of picture was better than i expected. itll be perfect for those who want to preserve pictures on their smartphone. mom day gift for me from husband My husband bought this for me for my first mothers day. I loved the idea but the more I read about this the more hesitant I am about it. I have not used it yet I am contemplating sending it back. I have read that there is no were to call if it malfunctions and have read some reveiews else were that it quit working after 4 months and they said there is no customer service number to call or no way to contact them. The only thing that is different is the panoramic and wallet photos. I never use them. The cartridge is only found online (at least where I live) so its not like I can go out and buy one if I run out. I did find it for $14.69 for 36 4x6 pics so thats not to bad but still $.41 a pic you can print them other places for that however I have read the quailty is better then the photo centers. So not sure and they pictures are suppose to be scratch and dust and fingerprint proof. As long as the $14.69 is compatable that is not too bad but if its $24 price then I might have to just got to photo centers or se My granddaughter loves this. For the person who has everything When I called customer service about delivery of this item, I received the run around and a completely different story than what actually happened. I was told the delay in shipment was caused by a back order if the item until late January, so I purchased a alternate gift for my brother in law and the item appeared the next day miraculously. Need clarity in which model to purchase Apparently models differ, thought I purchased one for iPhone use but after a frustrating week I discovered I have to use usb cord to produce a picture. Apparently this one is primarily for Android. The trial cartridge jammed after the test photo was printed, hooray for me that I bought a new cartridge along with the printer so that I could continue. Not computer savvy, I assumed from reviews that this appeared simple....app download, pick a photo, dock the phone onto the printer and print. Took me forever and was about to return it. Now that Ive printed two photos, Im not going to pursue returning or questioning appropriate printer. I got it to work -- finally. Printer Doesnt Work This product doesnt work with either iPhone 5 or Galaxy 5...the customer service person for the company that makes them was no help and didnt really care that it didnt work. She told me to just send it back! After reading other online reviews, it apparently doesnt work for anyone else either unless you are using a previous iPhone version. And, the app for Android will tell you that in order to use it (and get it updated) you need to first use it with an Apple product which doesnt work either. VERY FRUSTRATING! Photo Cube with iPhone 5s The instructions need a reminder to remove the iPhone from a case in order to dock properly. Also, the ink that came with the unit, needed rewinding before it would print even though the instructions stated it would not be needed. After these were addressed the photo cube printed very nice photos, and it easy to use. I would recommend it to others, so far. Great tool !! I would purchase this product again easy to use There are better Alternatives I bought this to take family pictures at a family event to hang on a "Family Tree." I was only able to print a single sample picture and was then unable to reconnect my iPhone 6 to the built in Lightning connector. The image on the phone kept showing the phone being placed on the connector. I delted the app, reset the iPhone and reinstalled the app. This didnt help. Compared to the Canon Selphy CP910, the paper quality poor - flimsy and cheap and could be easily ripped (not the Canon paper.) The color was pale and incorrect as well for the one image I was able to print and compare to the Canon. For about $30 more money, you get wireless connection to the iPhone, a color LCD screen to show you whats happening and the ability to red-eye correct and other features. He was always taking pictures with his iPhone, but he never had an easy way to print them! We both had fun setting this up and seeing it print the pictures. They turned out really well, most of the time. Pictures taken with the forward-facing camera came out grainy, but that is due to the decreased megapixels on the forward camera. Photos taken with the rear camera printed VERY well. I only gave it four stars, though, because sometimes it took quite a long time for the printer to recognize the phone (or vice-versa) and it would take some wiggling and jiggling and unhooking and rehooking to get it to work. He doesnt have an iPhone any more, and went to Android. Although it says you can use the printer with an Android, we havent tried it yet. quick delivery of the correct product My granddaughter really wants it after seeing it advertised. Will wait and see how it really works and how much it costs to operate. Printed nicely The printer worked very well. It does ask for your "location" but just keep clicking cancel and it still works. The pictures print slowly so if your planning to print a lot it will takes several minutes. I only printed one picture and it takes about a minute. The quality is good . It was a gift for hubby and he liked it. It is good for occasional use but you wouldnt want to print lots of pictures from it because it takes time. It is easy to work straight out of the box!
