Very bright & attractive Solar Lantern
This solar candle is attractive and very bright for a solar product. It is very easy to recharge and has an easy on and off switch. This unit has multiple sizes and the solar batteries keep the unit lit almost all night. You dont have to live in Las Vegas to experience the bright elegant lights that come from this lantern.

Beautiful--if You Can Find the On Switch
I bought this for my fathers patio for Fathers Day 2014. I didnt realize just how big it really was! It come super quickly in time for the holiday and it looks beautiful at night. The only problems we encountered were that the top seems to be broken at some sort of hinge...the locking mechanism does not work. Also the on switch is painted the exact same color as the brassy top so it is extremely hard to find (underneath the lip of the top of the lantern) and it isnt listed on the directions!

I purchased 2 lanterns to hang from my screened in porch. They look beautiful. Im very impressed that they remain lit throughout the night. I would have given them 5 stars, but I had to return one due to a bad switch. Sharper Image was very easy to work with on the return, with a very quick turn-around time on the replacement.

Very happy with the lantern....
big and bright
It was the exact size I needed to place on top of pillars next to our steps. If they were heavier I would be more comfortable leaving them up all year or at least thru all weather conditions. They are plastic and a good weight to carry and sit still but I plan to take them in during bad weather. The brightness of the candle is great and perfectly lights up our stairs. It is a great way to accent our deck without having to worry about putting a light on every night.
Good looking, put anywhere lantern
I leave these around our pool. They provide enough light to walk around without additional lighting.

warm glow, great atmosphere
Hung on a Charleston Piazza instead of the usual hanging plants. Every night it takes my breath away when I look out at it. The light really isnt good for general lighting but to create atmosphere.It is a soft, light glow. I have 5 hanging in a row and they dont light equally because of differing amounts of shade but overall, both my husband and I love them. I am anxious to see if they will hold up and how long the lighting will function well. By the way, we are using them on the proch of a small inn built in 1813 so the style works well.
wont work anymore
iv had the light for about 2 years , LOVE IT , wont work anymore. any suggestions how to fix it ?

I originally purchased two of these lanterns for front entryway. one worked beautifully, the other did not work at all. I was able to get a replacement for the defective one very quickly and at no additional cost to me. Second one works beautifully. Even charges on these gray winter days we have been having in New England! May purchase more for back yard.
Beautiful light
The lantern is lit from the candle area and from under the top, illuminating down, very attractive. It must be totally dark for it to come on, it does not illuminate at dusk.
Nice lights ... But too light weight
Great lantern , I ordered 2 large 2 small. I was disappointed when one of the large was damaged when it arrived.
Charming night-time lighting
This lantern was purchased for a large terrace in midtown Manhattan, NY. Ive had it for about a month and I very pleased so far. I was surprised at how bright the lantern is from both the candle itself and the light in the upper part of the lantern which casts a nice glow. Ive noticed that if there isnt enough sun during the day, the upper light will go out first leaving just the candle lit. Im not sure how long the candle stays lit. However, the lantern glows for several hours each evening.
