Review Content LIke it?I ordered a second one rightaway When I realized how neat and efficient the system was, and how much protection it provided my office CDs, I ordered a second one for the bedroom DVDs. Ive arranged the charts into specific catagories and cant believe how easy it is to find what Im looking for. for the organizer got rid of all those albums SO MUCH MORE ROOM! I had 2 drawers stuffed with DVDs in their cases. Hard to keep in any order, and hard to read labels. Now I have 300 spaces in one drawer, and room for another 100. Love it Great way to organize CDs and DVDs New and improved model provides a great way to organize your CDs and DVDs. The slider mechanism provides a very fast and efficient way to select the appropriate disc. The added LED light is so convenient when without light. Well designed and highly functional must-have product. DVD storage boxes. I Have over 400 DVDs in their original cases and they took up way too much space. Trying to find the movie youre looking for take too long. After putting them in the 120 Auto CD Storage Box I can find the movie I want quickly and they take up a lot less space. They also look good with the faux leather. Great purchase. Gimmicky, but it works Some years ago I purchased DVD storage files from, of all places, K-Mart, at a very reasonable cost, about $15 each for storing 100 DVDs. These are apparently no longer available anywhere. When I found this file, I pounced. It isnt the kind I really prefer, one that you can roughly organize and riffle through at will for the DVD youre looking for. It requires that you write down and index every DVD you put away if you want to ever find it again. But its all you can get- for a price. Great Idea! an attractive way to organize a potentially ugly mess! a great item my husband loves! A Great Organizer for CDs, DVDs I have just finished cataloging my personal composite music CDs. I marked duplicates for use elsewhere (i.e. my car). The HD120 DiscGear storage is a simple design that works very well. It is nice to have my music CDs sorted and available without a lot of work. I now plan to make backup cd or dvd files of all my music files and store them here. I also plan to get another unit for family photo and video files. I still have all my personal music, photo and video both on my computer and a dedicated external 2T storage drive but it is very nice to have instant access to organized files. The box is a rather boring black rectangle but it does its job. I do not care for the auxilary file for your cd and dvd covers. It is very flimsy and hard to handle. I would think a nice looking binder with 120 removable holder pages would work much better. A great start to organizing my music What I love about this product is the software that comes with it that allows me to organize and sort my music by type of music, musician etc!!! so now I can very easily find my CD when ever I want! The CD storage Box is better than expect I use product to put my hands on my CDs quuckly. I dont spend lots of time searching for CDs. All my CDs are located in one place. Fantastic Product I received the product and I was pleased to see that it arrived in perfect shape. It offers a software program that makes cataloging your CDs and DVDs extremely easy to do. You can then print out titles pages to store in the product and this enables you to easily retrieve any CD or DVD that you need in just seconds. Simple design that works well. I purchased ths disc organizer to archive my music by genre and my photos and personal videos by family tree and other people or decade catagories. So far my project and the HD120 Discgear organizer are workiing well together. I use the online app to create my inventory sheets. This looked way nicer than I thought it would, as it has a textured surface that makes it look less "plasticky". It greatly reduces the amount of space needed to store 100 DVDs and speeds up retreival too. Very pleased with these - we have bought 6 so far! Well designed product Works with CDs and DVDs. I use mine to hold my top 100 DVDs. Requires no batteries or external power source. A major plus! The lid is designed well. Does not require a deep self to open. I love these boxes, I use them for my movie collection. I dont care for the way the manufacturer tells you to record the contents of the boxes. If you only have one box I suppose it is OK. We have an extensive movie collection and about 25 boxes. Another user suggested using a spread sheet. I found that to work much better because I dont have to put the discs in any particular order. I can just sort the spread sheet alphabetically and find what I want right away. Very Impressed This item is awesome and more interesting than the movies i keep inside of it. Every time i have guests over for a movie they spend all day picking out movies just to see this thing in action. The major flaw about this is i mistakenly tried to hand write the titles of the movies.. this is simple with "Hulk" or "Spiderman" the then i came across "Dont be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood" and messed up everything. there is an option to do all of this online which is time consuming still but much neater. i would give this 5 stars but one of mine broke unexpectedly and will not stay closed. It is great! I got this for my wife this christmas to store all of our karaoke disk in. It impressed me more than I expected. We might get another one now for our music CDs. Excellent product! They are wonderful for organizing CDs, DVDs, and BluRay discs. I use them for Movies, TV Shows, Music, Software and Photo archives. My nieces and nephews use them for the discs for their games. My only reservation is that the software to keep track of the discs is now only on-line. When I started using them it came on disc and the data stayed on your computer which is the system I still use. I bought a lot of them. I own about 500 movies, This product makes it easy to organize and find the movie that I want to see. I had them in binders. It was almost impossible to find a particular movie. I created a spreadsheet, so now I can find a movie in about 30 seconds. Easy Organization Of CDs/DVDs Online Software can be used to create & print storage list. However, I created a spreadsheet so titles can be sorted by title, location, type, etc. A very efficient way to handle the DVD database. One problem, one of the units was damaged when I received it. I called Sharper Image to get a pre-paid return shipping label, and am still waiting for it (over a week). I have had this issue before. Seems that Sharper Image is very slow to supply pre-paid RMA shipping labels. They need to be "reminded" several times before they send, via email, the PDF label file. A great product.
