Nice clock
Love the swipe of your hand and alarm clocks shuts off
Interesting but be careful...
Not the most intuitive controls but still workable.
Easy to use snooze function.
Only watch out: it beeps when you use the motion functionality which is not a big deal, however, using a TV remote often triggers that functionality and that beep. Now that I know what is causing it, it is easier to live with.
I really like this clock
I like the fact that with a wave of my hand, I can control the snooze. I had been looking for a clock for some time that suited my style and needs.
Rough Start, But Love It
I was looking for an alarm clock radio that had an option to shut off the display altogether- this was not an easy feat. Many had dimmers, but at night w/ all the lights off, the dimmest setting was not that dim. I found this clock and it has an energy-saving feature, which shuts the display off completely. All you do is wave your hand over the top and the display comes on for 15 seconds. The biggest drawback was that I needed to take a college course to figure out how to set the alarm and ended up calling the company to walk me through it. As it turned out, the directions in the manual were incorrect, but the customer service rep was very nice and the clock and alarm are now working.

Well thought out product
Not having to "search" for a snooze button makes this clock worth the purchase. Also, having the ability to program which days the alarm will be set makes using this clock a pleasure. Great work on the controls and instructions.
Outstanding Alarm Clock!
As mentioned, I specifically use this radio to wake myself up in the morning in a gentle manner.
Great Clock
Clock was for my son - he loves it and it is really easy to use. Just wave you hand over the clock and it turns alarm off and on.

Great Product
This is a gift for my son, but just had to try it out before it gets wrapped. This is a great clock radio with bells and whistles and seems very easy to use. One of the best features is the motion activation. The price is right, too! Would definitely recommend!!
Best alarm clock ever
This alarm is fantastic. Snooze button, just wave your hand over top instead of fumbling with buttons. Room temp feature is pretty cool too. It even has a little night lite function.
A very clever clock
Interesting concept for the night light. Not sure why the indoor temperature is a feature.

I love to use the sensor snooze. I use the snooze and then turn it off so it will stop beeping.
Loved the idea of the clock but it didnt work
The clock started doing its own thing. It would move from room temp to time to alarm time without any input from me. I tried everything. I guess I just have a lemon. Im returning the clock. Undecided if I want a replacement.
Great clock with extras
We are using this at work to keep speakers on schedule. The added bonus of being able to play iPod music is nice touch!

I bought this due to the features weekday and weekend so far so good i cannot comment on the battery because it is not included this was 1 con most other clocks come with it i guess thats 1 way to keep the price down just it would have been nice not to be short changed shame on sharper image
A real nice bedside clock
No bedside clock is perfect, but this one has many nice features. Obviously, the motion activation is the big selling point, and it works as advertised. It would be nice if you could wave your hand twice to get twice the snooze time or if you could set the snooze duration, but nine minutes at a time is all you can get. The ability for the clock to be totally dark is great if you like darkness in your room when you sleep. And, having the temperature available to view is also a nice feature.
The set up process is a little lengthy but thats the way it is when you have so much functionality. The instructions are fairly complete and, if followed exactly, they get you through the process, although at a few points you just have to go on faith that youre doing the right thing. Turning off the alarm for the day could be easier, perhaps a single button strategically located might be a good enhancement.
Setting the alarm for days 1-5, 1-6, or 1-7 is nice but it would be better with a little more flexibility--
