Great hand warmer with or without gloves
I gave this this to my husband for Christmas. He is a merchandiser and works in very cold stores in the early morning. These warmers helped to keep his hands from being bitterly cold yet he was able to maintain his finger dexterity where he could still work stocking shelves with them on.
keeps my fingers toasty
Use them snow blowing driveway @ 8000ft.w hi winds. Also when sick helped to get my hands warm and helped me get warm all over.
Short battery life and trying to get second set of batteries to have for long times outdoors.
Gloves
Good gloves best with work gloves over them, one seems to warm up faster.
Great gloves =warm hands
Great to use when leaving office/home and heading to the car. Car instantly feels warmer when you feel the heat on your hands
WARM HANDS, WARM HEART.
AS A GLOVE LINER THEY ARE GREAT. ALWYS ANXIOUS TO MOVE SNOW, USING THEM.
great heaters
Kept hands warm
Yes, record lows but nice warm hands!
I have used the gloves at work where I am the groundskeeper. Experiencing temperatures in the low single digits, these gloves have been most welcome. These gloves easily fit into my work gloves and I have comfortably used them shoveling snow and performing other vigorous work activities. I think these are only useful as liners. The high red setting is indeed effective and lasts about two hours, so for extended use outdoors in the elements will require extra sets of batteries. How cool am I walking around in the dark with green, yellow or red lighted gloves!
Expected more for the money
I have Reynauds, which is a circulatory disorder in which blood leaves the extremities to protect the bodys core. Because of this, I suffer from very cold hands. I was hoping these gloves would alleviate the cold and pain that often come with this condition, and they DO help... Id rather have them than not!
However, they need to be charged about ever other day, and they dont stay warm anywhere near 5 hours. On the highest setting, which is the only one that even makes a difference, they may last about 2 hours total. And in order to avoid almost total heat loss, you really need to layer these gloves inside a thick mitten.
What I really like about these gloves is that the battery placement is very unobtrusive; they are certainly comfortable. Just wish I could say they produced a better end result.
very good product
I work in a freezer at work in -10 degrees for 10 hours at a time. they do great for about 2 to three hours. I wish the battery life was longer. it takes 8 hours to fully charge these gloves for about 2 hours of warmth so I am having to purchase extra batteries at $50 a pop to make it through a work shift, but other than that they are great gloves.
Nice
Perfect for my husband who has a nerve disorder.
Seam ripped the first time the gloves were used.
Better than expected
I live in Maine and winters here are COLD! On a zero degree day I can sow blow, clean off cars, and snow shovel for an easy two to three hours of comfort on the medium setting. I am getting older and have poor circulation in my hands and feet. I think Ill try the socks next!
Liners really work.
I bought the heated liners for my wife. My daughter races downhill skiing and she grab them and loves them. She says for the first time since racing she has warm hands. We live in the U.P. which is big snow country. I use the lines when I plow our drive. We had them for about two weeks and we love them. I am going to have to get another pair for the wife.
Great Liner!
These liners worked great! I wore them in 19 degree weather for 4 hours while working horses on the ground.
Soooo warm!
Great product dads old hands are happy and warm. Would recommend these for those troublesome cold hands.
Best gloves for any polar vortex!
My son lives in Chicago and takes the train to work every morning and night and says no gloves are warm enough until now! Hes very very happy with these. Quality!
Amazing
These gloves are lightweight and former fitting. Not bulky and easy to use your fingers. Perfect warmth extending all the way to fingers. Easy to charge, and nice zippered pockets for the batteries. Love these and would recommend!
Heated Glove Liner worked as promised
I bought this for my wife because we were taking a trip to a snow resort. She suffers from a malady where her fingers lose circulation in moderately cold weather. We were in the snow and ice and her hands and fingers did great, for hours at a time. This was perfect for our trip and allowed her to enjoy activities she otherwise would not have enjoyed. This is a wonderful product.
Hot gloves
Warm but unable to easily wear w coat because of bulky battery
Works well, charger died after 1 week
Sharper Image tracked down the manufacturer and had them ship me a replacement charger for the gloves. Took about 2+ weeks. Seem to work fine now, may have just been an abberation.
Great product!
You get exactly what you pay for is truly the bottom line of this product! Expensive, yes, and worth every penny! I didnt even need to use an outer shell, however I imagine how toasty they can be.. Only thing is that the sleeves are a bit large, but if youre fine with that, this is def the right product for you!
work as promised
Inside mittens keep fingers toasty warm am very pleased with while snowblowing.
Nice Compact Design
Just to add some points that I couldnt look up before I made the purchase:
- the adaptor works with both 110V and 220V lines
- There arethree temperature levels control for the glove
- The battery is detachable
- only has heater elements on top of the fingers and not all around.
Works As Advertised
Following some aggressive, emergency neck surgery both hands developed problems with temperature regulation and are especially sensitive to cold. I live in Vermont and am an all-season photographer. These liners really make a difference. Aside from those that slipped through quality control and had some defect to begin with (not mine) improper...uh..."handling" will likely decrease durability. Do cover them with other gloves for best results. I think of these like my cameras: precision instruments that deliver unbeatable results over time with proper care. Those who enjoy cooking steak in a toaster and complain that the toaster isnt such a great product probably wont like this product either. For practical purposes a second set of batteries is a good idea since waiting for recharge isnt practical. Would also like to be able to charge one battery at a time to extend use for one hand. Delivery was quick.
Heat Where You Need It
Kept my hands warm on a windy low double digit temperature morning.
Work but not as warm as expected
I was very excited about these gloves. Pros: lightweight, battery packs fit easily into sleeve and they are not bulky. They can be put under other gloves fairly easily. But, they do not get very warm at all, and if they are on the highest setting the battery drains in a shorter amount of time than I need to be outside. Realistically, they are better inside of mittens, as it can be too snug to fit them in gloves.
One was defective and did not work.
The right glove liner worked perfectly. The left glove liner would not stay turned on so I had to send them back and exchange. I hope when I get the new ones that both gloves will work. The glove liner that worked did a great job keeping your hand warm. Charging the batteries was very easy, and the idea of how they work was great. I just hope that both glove liners work in the new set which I will exchange.
Product is great!
I charged them up and put them on and expected my hands to be really warm. They were not and after awhile I thought perhaps they were not working so I put them on the freezer as the insert in the gloves said. I went back a bit later and they were warm, so I took them out and put them back on and went outside and moved wood for the next two hours. And guess what - my fingers stayed warm! That is a first for me EVER! I have Raynauds and never have warm fingers.
Great
These are great!
Great gloves. low power keeps me warm snowblowing in alaska.
Xmas present. used in AK for winter and snowblower. hands are not longer freezing. easy to use and charge. like the charge status light. low keeps it warm enough. easy to fit under gloves. not sure yet of durability due to newness.
A Winner
Skiing
great product
Never freeze at outdoor sports events again!
Nice glove liners
Ordered for wife due to circulation problems her doctor was very supportive of these to help in keeping her hands warm. This is a necessary thing for her condition.
Nice small-fit gloves for women
I liked that these gloves werent too big or bulky, and are attractive. Hoping they work well through the winter!
Love Them!
I have Raynauds and it can be very painful. My husband bought these for me for Christmas this year. I purchased a second battery so that when the batteries dead I dont have to wait for them to charge. This way I have batteries ready to go. I do wish the battery was not so bulk. A thinner longer battery would make them a lot more attractive.
Keeping me warm
I use them for working around the house and found it difficult to pick up sheet metal screws. It is hard to get the battery in and out. I am a Parkinsons patient and received the gloves from my wife as a Christmas gift to keep my hands warm doing odd jobs around the house. Making them easier to deal with the battery for those with difficulties in fine motor control would make these higher on my star scale. They are nice and thin and fit into my leather work gloves. I am concerned about wearing them without a glove covering because I do not want to tear them. They do a good job of keeping my fingers comfortablly warm in this chilly weather..esp with the below freezing conditons we are having here in NE.
No cold hands again
Bought for my son who is a head college baseball coach. There first games is the first week of Feb and pretty cold. His assistant coach had these last year and loved them. My son asked for a pair for Christmas for the upcoming season.
Will buy another pair as a gift
My hands get cold very quickly even when wearing two pair of regular gloves or mittens. These glove liners have solved the problem and I am now able feel my fingers!
Exactly what I needed
I am a falconer that has cold sensitivity. I live in Michigan and was having trouble finding a way to keep my hands warm under the special gloves we use for falconry. These are perfect, the battery is not to bulky and the heat distribution is wonderful.
"I would buy this product again!"
Outside shoveling now is not so painful in cold weather!
Warm but not super warm
Product is a bit bulky but to have the battery that is normal. Customer service could not worse.
Warm Hands
Great at hockey and football games, when I go north.
Good gloves
Plan on using these gloves while snow blowing and shoveling. Have worn them only once so far and they did ok just by themselves. I plan on using them with another pair of gloves and hope they keep my fingers warmer then wearing them alone. So far I am pleased.
Nice and thin
I bought these for my father in his late 60s for Christmas. Being from North Dakota, there is still time spent outside shoveling/snow blowing and he has had circulation issues in his fingers. These work excellent as glove liners. The extra heat really is helpful. If it isnt too cool, can wear them without a glove on top.
another blizzard for Boston!
With these heated gloved under others I was very comfortable clutching the handles and triggers of the large snow blower I must use. I am at it for 1-2 hours at a stretch and the heated liners never give up. Previously, I had to have 3 pairs of gloves on a heating pad in the garage and trade off frequently!
wireless glove liners
Easy to use
not as warm as I thought
they fit well, sturdy glove. I have very cold hands and was hoping those will keep my hands warm, but even with milder temperatures around 26F my hand were not really warm on medium and even high level. I suppose thats normal because they manufacturer does not want you to cook inside the gloves, but rather keep the hands in a comfort zone, but still, I was hoping for more warmth. I will probably need to layer those with mittens when it gets cold.
My wife loves these glove liners!
Battery life is a little better than expected. It would be nice if they included a car charger, but a cheap 120V converter works OK.
slim
Like the slim design so they fit under regular gloves.
They worked! No complaints with this product.
Nice to have an option on long days hiking or skiing when the weather turns cold. Just what you need at the end of a long day.
No more cold fingers
Good as linner, so best use them with larger gooves. Thank you for no more cold fingers while I go to dog park in winter.
warmth
My husband absolutely loves it. Wears all of the time
Good under the right conditions
I originally got these for everyday use in the winter but was severely disappointed when I could only feel the the slightest bit of heat using the gloves indoors as a test. Took them outside and got the same result. I would have to squeeze my fingers against the heating element to notice anything and even then I wouldnt say it was helpful.
Everything changed once I used them as actual glove liners and not gloves. I put them in a pair of insulated ski gloves and I immediately noticed a difference. The highest setting got my fingers from being numb to warm in no time and I had to turn the gloves off because it got too warm. So all in all the gloves are great but they only work if you put them in a pair of well insulated outer gloves.
Oh yeah, the controls are a little weird. The three colors on the glove and the charger itself are basically reversed so it makes things a bit awkward to learn.
"I would buy this product again and again"
This is heated gloves . Its really wonderful . I would buy it again
Love these gloves
These are perfect liners, my hands get cold while outside shoveling snow and cant wait to try them. I put them on in the house and they warmed right up I also ride a motorcycle and am thinking they will be great on the cool morning rides.
Good for Raynauds
I like these. I have Raynauds phenomenon, so my hands are freezing when the temp dips below forty. I have the thicker pair of heated gloves, and they are much warmer, but they look like huge ski gloves, so I only wear those when its really cold out. These are good for warmer day, when its about forty to fifty degrees out and I would look ridiculous wearing the huge ski gloves. They arent quite as warm as the big heated gloves (those are divine) but theyre much better than regular gloves if you have Raynauds. (But if you do have Raynuads these wont help you if the temp dips much below forty. Also good for driving in the winter, as I wouldnt try that with the ski gloves.
Awesome Liners!!
Took these with me for my annual ski trip to Breckenridge Resort....even in 5 degree weather they perform quite nicely!! On low they will last an easy 6 hrs which is plenty for me, not going to ski longer then that!!
I would buy this product again and again
I purchased for my self and also bought as a gift, was greatly appreciated.
Great glove liners
I bought these liners for my husband as a gift. He loves them! His only complaint is that the place where the battery sits at your wrist is a bit thick. He wore them the first time under his snow gloves to go out and shovel snow. When he came in he was almost like a kid with a new bike :)
He made me feel his hands right away. Even though wind chills were below zero, his hands were perfectly fine and toasty. He had used the medium setting. Normally even his snow gloves dont keep his hands that warm.
Quality product
It used to be that my fingers would never warm up after taking my gloves off in the cold. Well his product now gives me that flexibility to work outside without pain from cold fingers. I found they had enough power on medium setting to keep my hands plenty warm on a -12 degree run.
Heated gloves
When skiing. Walking the dogs on a chilly morning
And out shoveling the decks
I would buy this product again and again
Ideal to wear as liners, fit is perfect.
I would buy this product again and again
I would buy this product again and again
Not sure
Didnt work the first time out but I finally got them to work. They seem to work some of the time but not all the time. Not sure how hot they should get but they dont seem to get very warm. Just not sure.
GREAT GLOVES
GREAT GLOVES WORK GREAT FOR MY MOTORCYCLE RIDES
Excellent gift idea!!
I plan to use gloves for shoveling snow, waiting for cold weather and more snow
Review based on half a dozen wears
Because I have neuropathy in my fingers I have had to give up cross country skiing and most walks with the dog end up in pain during the winter months.
These gloves are allowing me to have a life again outdoors. I wear them for about an hour every day on the highest level. They do not get overly warm for me. In 15 degree below zero wind chill, my thumb and fingertips still get cold but not painful!!!! Glad I read another review to get backup batteries.
Skiing comfort
I used these about 5 times with gloves and once with mittens. They kept my hands comfortable on yellow. Battery life is okay. Long time to charge.
Have been looking for this type glove.
I ordered a 2nd pair for friend as gift, he was very impressed.
Relief at Last!
After many years of cold exposure with poor quality gloves when I was younger I have fingers that become painfully cold and numb when I go skiing. These liners work beautifully for me, keeping my fingers toasty warm for the first time in decades. As the manufacturer states, however, they work best and the battery life is longest when used under gloves that retain heat, not when used on their own. I got an extra set of batteries so that I can switch them out at lunch time and be sure that Ill be good to go all afternoon on the slopes. Id give them five stars except that a full recharge requires overnight.
Excellent for Colorado
Heated and warm for our Colorado.
So far, so good
My husband has diabetic pain and the pain gets worse in the evening. The gloves help keep his hands warm, even in the house.
We need to get a pair of mittens that will fit over the gloves and battery packs to keep the heat in.
The batteries are taking several hours to charge. Hopefully this will improve once theyve been used a few times.
Weve yet to use them in cold weather for walks. That will be the real test.
Warmest I have Been
Fit right inside my gloves. Kept my hands warmed the entire time. You see I camp monthly year round in a tent and found the glove liners extremely useful when looking for fire wood.
Getting the Job done!!
I bought these for a snowmobile trip...however with the Polar Vortex here...have been using them when clearing the snow off the car!!!
Heated gloves are excellent
My wife walks 4 - 5 miles a day with our dog. The hardest part to keep warm are her hands. These gloves solved her problem completely
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!
Bought these to use on my motorcycle. I have
Raynauds phenomenon it is a condition in which cold temperatures or strong emotions cause blood vessel spasms. This blocks blood flow to the fingers, toes, ears, and nose. Let me just say THANK YOU! Just got back from a night ride, using only the medium setting and my hands are still warm! I will be ordering spare batteries so I am never without heat.
Heated Glove Liners
Bought these gloves for my wife. She absolutely loves them. The one down side is the battery area is a little bulky and some what heavy But thats not stopping her from wearing them.
Gloves of warmth
I think the gloves are nice, however they are not cheap and I dont use them enough.
comfortable , sleek and warm
I took them snow skiing in Vermont. On the ride up the ski lift, I put them inside my jacket for safe keeping. When I put them back on at the top of the hill, I realized just how heated they were. The fabric is comfortable. The only thing I can add negative is they are not desirable in temperatures and wind below 29 degrees. I thicker material is needed.
A splurge but worth it!
I have been looking for over a year for a pair of gloves that would keep my hands warm while taking my dog for walks in the harsh Chicago winter weather. These work great - definitely need to wear as liners though. Theyre not warm enough to wear on their own. The top of the glove is a bit bulky, but you can easily slip another pair of gloves over them. The battery area is a bit snug, so its somewhat difficult to zip the battery pouch. Its a bit of a hassle, because youre supposed to unplug after each use. I always use the highest heat setting, and the battery lasted several weeks before losing its charge. (I wasnt using on a daily basis.) These are a bit pricey, but I think theyre worth it.
Excellent
This product works well. I definitely recommend it!
WARM HANDS
THEY HELP WITH COLD WEATHER ACTIVITIES. EASY TO ADJUST TO THE ELEMENTS.
finally gloves that work
I use the product when snowblowing or walking the dog. Finally gloves do what they are intended to do.
Great for running in the winter
I have used the gloves several times now, running 10 miles each Sunday (coldest so far was 28F). The gloves do a great job keeping my hands from getting cold (I do wear a pair of thin gloves over them, as directed in the instructions). They are a tad bulky, but I didnt mark that as a con, as its not a problem for me.
Great product
Perfect for training racehorses in the brutal cold!!!
True Hand Savers!
I have horses and in the winter my hands suffer from the cold. These glove liners are a life saver for me. I can use them alone when I am getting feed pans ready. They allow me to feel, measure, and open containers while keeping my fingers warm. The fit great under gloves as well as mittens. They keep my fingers warm without wearing those big bulky gloves. I used to have to go into the lounge to warm my hands several times during the evening chores. Now I am finished in much less time because I dont need to go in and warm up. The batteries keep a good charge for several hours. They are comfortable with no bulk. I absolutely love these glove liners and plan to order another pair. I will never go through another winter without them. I use them every day. They are worth every penny!
It was a great thoughtful gift
It was such a great gift that he had already gotten it for himself!!
Solid
Truly liners. The warming mechanism is closer to the palm of your hand and wont warm finger tips. Therefore, it is best to use these inside large mittens where the warmth can be shared by the fingers :)
Good Idea...but has its faults..
The heat does not reach the thumbs and fingers, unless you had it on the High setting. All the heat seems to be in the palms.
The On/Off switch would not stay on high, would automatically go to the lower setting on its own.
These gloves would be OK to wear in 30-40 degree weather, but do not work in below zero and single digits temperatures.
Essential this winter
I bought these glove liners for myself on the advice of a friend. We both spend several hours a day outside. These gloves proved essential in the bitter cold days we experienced in New England this year. Before I got them I was getting frost nipped every day.
These are lightweight so you can wear a regular glove over them to keep them clean. They can be hand washed with care. They have 3 heat settings and heat up fairly quickly after you turn on the batteries. Batteries are rechargeable, so even though the battery life is limited, they suffice for long enough to get the work done.
They have a high price point but once you experience the relief of warm fingers, they are well worth it!
I just bought a 2nd pair for a friend who likes to ski.
Warmth all the way to your fingertips
I havent given these a good try yet, but really appreciate the warmth going all around each finger. Everything Ive used in the past just heated the back of my hands.
I would buy this product again
Great gloves nice to have warm hands if you are out in the cold you definitely should buy a pair.
Glove wiring is too delicate
Husband suffers from nerve damage in one hand and needs the heat provided by the glove. It works well for about two months and then needs to be replaced.
I would buy this product again.
These Rechargeable glove liners work great for cold weather activities. My husband uses them in his work gloves when blowing snow. He also uses them in his dress gloves when it is extremely cold.
The battery charger comes with them, and they are easy to charge. They are, also, adjustable for three levels of heat.
The only problem we had was with the first pair of gloves. With that pair the one glove would not stay on. After exchanging them for another pair, this pair works great. It has been so cold here this winter that my husband is wearing them everywhere.
Too much whiz and not enough bang
I had surgery on my right hand due to an accident at work which resulted in nerve damage. Because of that it stays colder than the rest of my body so I wear my gloves constantly. It really helps relieve my pain especially when it is cold outside - and I switch and wear my other one on my bad hand when the battery runs out. I just wish they didnt run out as quickly as they do.
Couldnt keep his hand out of this massager
I bought this as a gift for my 27 year old nephew. Hes a plumber who overworks his hands & has swelling and stiffness. He said it works great for him but hes not sure it would work as well if you have small hands as his are quite large. His Father, my brother, couldnt keep his hand out of it the entire evening and I wouldnt be surprised if he ordered one to help with his arthritis.
gr8 4 myofascial pain & overuse injuries
I bought Sharper Images Wireless Rechargeable Heated Glove Liners a few weeks ago and have used them three or four times so far.
The good:
1. Great for myofascial pain and overuse injuries. I have myofascial pain and/or overuse injuries, and my arm muscles are constantly contracted. By keeping my hands warm, these liners help my arms relax, reducing discomfort. No more shivering and tensing up, which aggravates trigger points.
2. Warm enough. I was worried that the warmest setting might not be warm enough for me, or that the liners wouldnt keep my entire hands warm. As it turns out, the settings are perfect and warm my hands entirely. In fact, while I always start out on the high setting for immediate relief--an option I greatly appreciate!--I have found that I quickly switch to the medium setting and keep it there for the duration. Yesterday I cleared off snow from my car, and while Id recommend wearing a thin waterproof glove on top of the liner when dealing with snow, I remained comfortable. It say
Great Gloves
Everything works great. Gave it a 4/5 for battery life on medium heat setting; wish it could last an entire ski day on medium setting.
So Far, So Good
I use these gloves for outdoor shotgunning where I have to regularly remove my outer gloves. My hands get cold due to poor circulation. I can leave the liners on while shooting and then replace the outer gloves. I have used them down to about 20 degrees and they work well. I have only used the high setting and their projection of 2 hours of battery life is accurate. They will not work alone since the fabric is quite sheer but as liners they are nice. For me they are worth the price since I could not comfortably shoot otherwise.
Grandma loved the gloves
I bought this as a gift for my grandmother. She has poor circulation, cold hands, and weekly coumadin checks. The gloves allowed her hands to be warm enough to only get stuck once for a blood draw. Her hands are always warm now and she loves them.
GREAT WARM GLOVES
I AM A REAL ESTATE APPRAISER WHO WORKS OUTSIDE AND I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT DOES NOT TOLERATE COLD AIR. THESE HAVE BEEN A LIFESAVER.
Great Glove Liners
These liners are perfect for fitting under other gloves or mittens, but can be used by themselves also. Wish the battery life was a little longer on the higher temps, but that is my only complaint. The gloves are also very comfortable and cover my wrists well. Will be using these for working outside and enjoying our Michigan winters!
disapointing for the money
I used these gloves several times for downhill skiing. The cuffs are bulky were the battery is as it has to then go over your jacketcuff and other shirt sleeves. It is only good for almost 2 hours on low,,,even on a warm day. If they were warmer when I used them I would consider buying extra batteries but I would have to have 4 sets just for a day off skiing. I would recomend these for a couch potato in a cool room.
