what a relief

Car seat cushion is a lifesaver!
This seat really helps ease the hip pain of my long commute to work.
Firm but cushy

This is actually my daughters Christmas gift to me so I only tried it once before putting it back in the package, but it was very comfortable both as a seat driving as well as in my office chair. If I can get a discount, I plan to buy a second one so Im not hauling this one around everywhere.

This was a gift for my dad who drives semi, he really enjoys something on top of the hard truck seat. So far it seems to be working out, do wish it had a removable cover maybe with fleece. All in all i would highly recommend.

This is a great product if you want to soften or cushion your seat, Unfortunately I also wanted to get some height out of it because I am only 53". It only raised me about 1/4".

Thought it would be bigger
I just started a job where Ill be driving a lot and expected it to cover the whole seat which it did not. So I have to start it on one side of the seat so when I get in it might be where I really want it !!!

Cushion is about an inch short to fit the depth of drivers seat. The cushion still works but it would be better.

I used to get a real pain in my butt after about 4 hours of driving, with this cushion it took the pressure off the nerve causing the pain. Spent 35 hours driving time in 7 days on a trip and never experienced the pain at all. Worked great!

This cushion is exactly what I needed! I was tired of lengthy drives in my older vehicle (2002) - at 14 yrs. old, my Highlanders seats were less than comfortable. I used to have to go to the chiropractor for alignments and, frankly, I was getting sore and suffered pain in medium to long drives. The gel cushion has made a tremendous difference for me! Its well-made, comfortable, and I just might explore driving for Uber (smile). Quality product at a GREAT price. Will likely order an additional.

Extra comfy on long trips
My primary reason for this cushion was to use in the car for long trips (more than 1 hour). After reading other reviews, I decided to go with this cushion even though I wasnt sure about the gel hexagon structure in its construction. However, after using this about 3 weeks now, I can say it does the job!
The only con is that even though it as "grip" on the underside of the fabric, the cushion still moves slightly when getting in or out. However, it is not a lot and would not deter me from making this purchase again. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable seat cushion!
"High quality and performance"
It fits an average size adult. It youre a size 34 waist or larger a bigger seat print is desirable but it still works fine.
Gel Seat Cushion Evens Pressure
Many folks dont have a lot of their own padding back there, so sitting on a hard surface for a long period can be a problem. Just bought a new car, and the seat (despite it being $45k) is quite stiff, Going on a trip from MD to TX not enough time to break it in. This should ease the transition. Like the non-slip surface. Stays in place when getting in or out.
What a difference this cushion makes
Product made a Hugh difference when I sit in the drivers seat of my vehicle. The side bolsters on the seat used to bother my hip while I was driving but now I added this Gel seat cushion and the pain is gone. I had bought other foam seat cushions but all they did was collapse when I sat on them, this one does not collapse when your weight is applied to it. It molds itself to your own personal shape contouring to every part of your bottom when you sit on it. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that I feel that it needs to be about 4 inches longer to cover the entire bottom of the car seat but it was still a great investment for me.

The gel is very comfortable, however I can tell this was designed for mid sized cars like an Accord. It was not designed for seats in large pickups as the cushion is not large enough to comfortably fit on the seat.

Perfect
I bought this for my husband. He uses all the time. It takes the pressure off his tail bone and buttox. I just wish it were a bit thicker as does he. Otherwise, great product, and it does the job for comfort/relief of pressure.

I travel over 500 miles a week by car. This gel seat cushion was exactly what I was looking for! Its the right size and provides pressure relief in the right spots. Its a little heavier than memory foam, but not as thick and bulky.
really great seat cushion
Ive had a gel foam cushion in my car for a year or so. It eventually flattened. This cushion will sustain its shape and work for a very long time. Ive recently been dealing with sciatic nerve pain, and this item helps a lot when in the car for any length of time.
Comfort for sure
This does make my seat comfortable while driving. My only disappointment is that this cushion does not lift me up more. I am 5 3" and wanted a little extra height. My solution was to get a firm cushion and out the HS cushion over it. Problem solved.

"Long trips dont hurt my hips"!
If I am awake I am in a wheel chair and words cannot reflect the pain my body is in by the end of the day. With this cushion I dont hurt anymore. I have energy all day long because the pain is no longer overriding my energy. I have not traveled to see my son for several years because I could not stand the pain caused by long hours in the car. I have had the cushion about a month and I going to visit my son next week - thats how good it works.

I own a small car, and Ive been driving all day on bumpy/wintery Chicago roads for the last three months, and the near constant "driving on a washboard" experience was seriously rattling my nerves. I bought this seat cushion for my husband because he gets uncomfortable on long car trips. He had bought a piece of memory foam but it didnt have a cover or the right shape for the car seat. This cushion has a cover and the gel construction is very comfortable and retains its shape well.

My husbands new car leather seats were much firmer than we expected. OK for short trips, but uncomfortable for longer car trips. We tried other seat cushions but they slipped when he got in and out OR loss their density while being sat on. This cushion gel cells maintain their softness without being too cushy. Just the right amount of cushion. Reminds us of medical wheelchair cushions that cost 2-3 times what this cost. Plus it is not too thick.

I gave this gel cushion as a gift to my husband prior to a long road trip we had to take post medical treatment. It provided him total comfort all the way, he did not feel tired at all after a 500 mile trip. Also useful around the home post treatments. Great investment, glad its available.

Very happy with the gel seat cushion that I purchased. I started commuting to work 70 miles a day after moving to new residence 1 1/2 years ago.

Heat sensitivity weakens lure for this product
I bought this cushion to alleviate pressure points on long drives in my pickup. Though the cushioning effect is quite good and the material itself resilient, it will not be useful to me since I have to remove it from the hot vehicle in the warm season. My partner contends it will be a great addition to her office chair.

A big improvement!
I drive all day for work, and while this took some getting used to, it really does help reduce the stress to my back. It is NOT big enough to cover the entire vehicle seat, and thats a problem that should be fixed. It requires constant readjustment when I get into the vehicle.
It is also higher than I had expected- I may try one of the thinner pads, since I also need one for home. Its heavy and not really practical to drag in and out every day.
It seems harder than I would have imagined, and actually has taken some time to get used to that as well. The first day, I wondered if I had made a mistake- but after a couple of weeks, it really has helped reduce the wear and tear on my back from sitting and driving on rough roads, as well as taking the wear and tear off the edge of the seat itself.
This would be a far better product, if it were made to lay over the entire vehicle seat over the edge, and contoured towards the edges as well. As it is, it is just large enough to sit on- and while that may be f

This seat is much more comfortable than the one I was using. It was too high and stiff and I felt like I was falling off the car seat. This one is the perfect height and width and hugs my body. The cushion flexes with me and is shock absorbing and oh so comfortable!

I have a bad back and cannot sit for very long in regular chairs before I have to leave because of back pain. Heres A Review After Ive Sat On It
We do a lot of cross country driving and my husband often becomes uncomfortable and needs to stretch his legs. I cant really explain why, but the gel cushion has increased his comfort substantially. This is a nice cushion. However, cant be left in a hot car it damages it. It should be noted in the description specially since its for the car and if you live in a hot area your temperature gets up and damages the gel.

Everything it says it is, is true. Comfortable, no pain, numbness, etc. I suggest bringing it inside every night as it does hold the temperature for awhile. Living in New England during winter time, the cushion is ice cold all the way to work if left out all night... Even with heated leather seats doesnt help. Otherwise very happy

Gel Foam Seat Cushion
We purchased this for the car, but it would work as well just about anywhere. It has a handle for carrying, which is handy. Well made and does the job. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it says that it stays in place, and I think on fabric it would, but on leather it still needs a little help - we used Velcro. Otherwise, A+.
Softer for trips!
This a great cushion and we use it for long road trips- really helps pad those "not enough padded seats". The one wish is to be as little longer for long leg folks :-)

I ordered these seats before a long holiday car ride to help relieve my parents of pains they get from travel. They were so excited to try out these cushions and they seem to have done the trick! For the first time they didnt complain at all!

Not what I expected
I am a small person with a small car. This could be a great product but it is too short even for my car. It starts to bother my legs after a very short period of time because its about 3" too short. If you turn it the other way you have the same problem with the sides. Not sure what kind of car this was made for but they dont get much smaller than mine.
Wonderful Product
After purchasing the gel seat cushion for myself,
I let my husband try it at which point he promptly
decided he needed one, too! It is very comfortable
and it stays put (unlike the foam products). The
only drawback might be to remember not to leave it in the car in the summer heat over 100 degrees.

Worth the price
We are used to the comfort of the leather seats in our Honda CRV and have just recently purchased a Honda Fit with regular seats. This gel pad has made a huge difference in the comfort of riding in the Fit on long trips. Purchased one for the drivers side seat to see how we like it, and will now order a second one so the passenger can have the same comfort.

Seat cushion does not do the job
I am going to send back the seat cushion as it simply does not help support my seat or lower back. I suffer from lower back pain, and thought that cushioning my seat would help. The seat cushion, which is a gel, does not seem to effectively cushion my sitting.

I just love this cushion! I have others, and this one is the best! The size is perfect. It is a true 18 inches wide. The others that I have are narrower, and doesnt help me with my back and "Bottom" pain when I drive for more than an hour. This Gel cushion does help! I am now going to order another one for my wifes car.

Great product for Chevy Impala
Impalas have notoriously hard seats. I have tried many cushion/cover options since 2008. They have slipped and slided and are basic junk. Made in USA. This is a great product to counter GMs incentive to upgrade to Buick comfort. This is a great product for my car. For auto use, the depth could be increased about 2" to cover the entire seat. Live with it, though. It works well as is.

I have arthritis in my back and riding in a bumpy car/truck is painful. This cushion allows my body to hug the seat and cushion my joints from all the bumps. I have tried other cushions, but I felt like I was towering over the seat and might fall off. Other cushions were too firm and did not provide what my joints needed. Great Product
I got this cushion for my husband after comparing it to a number of others. He has a bad back and has tried just about every option out there to relieve his chronic pain. Sittting for any length of time is difficult for him. The first time he tried it, he thought it was a little too firm, but as time has gone on, it is proving to be just the right amount of support. He hasnt had it for more than a few weeks, but he says it is helpful and he definately wants to keep it. Will submit an update after hes tried it for a while in different situations. I balked a little at the price, but in some cases, you get what you pay for. In this case, I think I just may have made the right choice.

I find in comfortable and looking forward to taking it on a long drive. My husband who is bigger says it chafes back of his thighs when using in our truck. Hopefully, the experience will be better when he uses it in our sedan.

This product is adequate and I dont regret buying it, but I would have liked it to be a bit thicker so that it provided better cushioning. The cushioning is effective and definitely an improvement over not having any (and much better than any foam-insert pads), but still, I wish the cushioning was even more effective. However, because it is kind of thin, it does make it more portable.
A cushion that is much better than foam.
It gave my wife and I the support necessary to make a long 1600 mile trip in 4 days with very little or no discomfort. If I were to purchase one again, I would probably by the thicker one. It does a great job of distributing weight without just raising us in the seat as do solid cushions like those made of foam. A real plus-it is made in the USA.

This is much more comfortable than my current office chair cushion. It does tend to slide around a bit on the chair though so sometimes I have to re-orient the pad before I sit down.

Great During Surgical Recovery
I take this everywhere but wish it were light weight after recovering major surgery & chemo therapy. Cushion is just under 4 pounds, yet seems even heavier when person has compromised health condition. The carrying handle does help a lot & can also fit over the bars of a walker if needed.

Work behind a desk almost 8 hours a day and for the first time, my butt doesnt get sore at any point in the day. Never felt more comfortable. Usually had to shift in my chair at some point during the day, but I honestly cant remember the last time I felt the need to do that in the last three weeks Ive used this. I tried a foam cushion before but it eventually got flat and stopped working. Im optimistic that the Wonder Gel will last longer than the cushion. It certainly feels better than anything else Ive sat on, including the original computer chair cushion.
Only downside might be that I feel like the cover will get worn out or really stretched or wrinkled eventually. Its like a thin nylon material. But Ill just make another cover or buy a replacement cover when that happens.
Planning to get these for all my family members as gifts this year to use at their desks. Ill probably use mine in car for long trips too.

Mainly use in my car, but found myself using it in my wifes car as well. The column structure design allows for ventilation as well as comfy support on long drives. I wasnt sure about the removability of the cushion as I expected it to slip & move about -- however, this is not an issue, so a pleasant surprise.

Im recuperating from a crushed vertabrae while driving a school van all day. It is a bumpy ride. I got this to ease the jarring to my back. It is wonderul. I wish I had one years ago. Perhaps I wouldnt be suffering from back trouble if I had. I highly recommend this to anyone for a more comfortable ride. It is very light and easy to carry from one vehicle to another.
