Review Content Worked Great! I gave this to my neighbor across the street who was having problems on his dog and it worked wonderfully Awesome!!! Problem Solved!! We were crate-training our puppy, and being a husky, he would love to howl at night. Now with this product, there is no more howling and we can all get some much needed sleep. Would recommend in a heartbeat! Since buying the Anti-Bark, life is quiet in my house. I LOVE IT!!! Reverse effect The unit did respond to my dogs bark and did exactly as advertised; it sent a signal that can be either audible to the dog only or audible to both dogs and humans. However the signal annoyed my dog and made him bark more. He also spent time after each signal scratching the rug trying to find the signal source. Decided that verbal commands only work best for him. This actually works!!!!! My dog barked incessantly.I thought I tried everything until I saw this.I was reluctant but if it could help even a little I was willing to give it a try.I am so glad I did.It really works.Thank you for my newly found peace and quiet. Best Gift! Our best gift...seriously! We have 3 dogs, one is a big shepard, and 2 little chiuauah mix. Two little yappers and one big woofer. With tile floors through the house, it sounded like a kennel in here from outside! Our daughter got from Sharper Image, BARK FREE. Plugged it in, went out and rang the door bell. Two quick yaps and silence! When I came in the big dog went down the hall to hide, the ulta sonic sound must have bothered her most. So I turned it down a notch. No more barking at every sound they hear outside and playing is done at the quiet small growl level! WhooHoo! The neighbors must be happy! This can be used when camping too, if we take them out with us! Works better on small dogs. As soon as we received the Bark Free, we went thru the test mode per their instructions and saw that our smaller dog, reacted immediately to the sound where as our 80 lb. Lab didnt flinch. The problem is we needed it for our Lab. We are still trying the unit both inside & outside to see if it will work on our Lab. It definately works on smaller dogs. I love the design and dont mind it in the house at all. So far we are only plugging it in so we dont know how long the battery life is. Well do a follow-up in 30 days to update our review if it worked on our Lab who might take a little longer. Works Like A Champ! Plug it in, ring your doorbell and watch the effectiveness! Works somewhat My dog still barks, but she seems to stop barking sooner rather than perseverating for longer periods of time. When it is on medium sensitivity, it will go off if we laugh loudly (we have it in our living room near our front window), but if it is on the lowest sensitivity, it wont go off for all barking. I had a coupon to the site which got me half off... I might not have bought this product and wouldnt necessarily recommend it, for full price.
