I want to get this for my sons.
I was going to give this to my husband for a Christmas gift but decided to give it to him early because I was anxious to try it. Why didnt someone think of this earlier?
much improved sightlines!
i drive a prius, which i love, but the sightlines are not great in it. a friend told me about the panoramic rear view mirror she uses in hers and then she gave meone for my birthday. it is GREAT! i can see much more and feel more confident ont he road. it takes a little getting used to- to suddenly have such better viewpoints- but you adjust quickly.
Gives safe driving a whole new meaning!
Wow! This really eliminates blind spots and makes driving much more safer. It fit easily over the existing mirror. My only complaint is that it doesnt eliminate night time glare, the existing mirror automatically reduces glare but after snapping this one on top of it, I have to deal with the rearview light glares. Other than this issue, its a great product. A bit pricey compared to other similar online products, but Ive never tried the others to compare.

Easy to install, very useful to stop blind spots which enables you to see all cars that are on the right side of your car.

I have a much better view of cars behind me and on both sides.
Performance as advertised, one downside
As a 52" almost-eighty year old driver I was troubled by blind spots when driving my 2009 Toyota Avalon. The panaramic rear view mirror just about solves that problem for me. Im a safer and less fearful driver now. The downside is that, with the mirror installed, Im unable to adjust the visors, particularly on the passenger side. When my husband drives, its impossible for me to lower the visor even a little and forget about accessing the mirror for a lipstick application. Not sure if this is an installation problem or a sacrifice one makes to have the panarama rear view.

Great panoramic view. A snap to install without tools. Not as durable as I expected. Looks like it could break easily if it should happen to fall. Overall Im very happy with it.

my neck is stiff and this helps me be able to see behind me a lot faster. i still have to turn my head mostly on the right but gives me enough extra vision feel than i will not be the cause of a wreck and can continue to drive.
I feel safer
It took some getting used to, but except for the space between the back and side windows, you have a full view of all traffic. It took me awhile to trust that when a car was visible thru the back window it was safe to change lanes without turning my head, I realized how valuable it was.

The mirror fit over my existing mirror and did a wonderful job showing me the blind spots off of either side of my car. My initial impression was that it was too big but now I intend to get one for my other vechicle.

One word - safety
Im a truck driver. I found that driving my car home from work was stressful because I did not have as good rear mirror visibility in my car as I do in my truck. The Panoramic Rearview Mirror has changed that! After the easy installation of the Panoramic Rearview Mirror in my car, I noticed a dramatic improvement in rear view visibility! I use the Panoramic Rearview Mirror along with my cars side view mirrors to get an uninterrupted view of vehicles as they approach and pass! I also like to sit in my car and drink coffee in the morning to relax before work. I have found that I feel safer in the stationary car because I can see if anyone is approaching on foot from behind!

This car mirror lets you see in your blind spots. However, it does not allow you room to put down your sun visors, but still well worth it.

Great View from ALL Angles
This rear view mirror is mounted in my car and it never ceases to amaze me because of the clear view it gives of ALL traffic patterns around me - behind, to the side, in EVERY direction. It provides me with a sense of real safety when driving and also when backing up which can be a distinct problem with the rear view mirror that came with my vehicle. I would recommend this product to anyone with an eye to extra safety while behind the wheel.
Panoramic Mirror a Real Life Saver
I lost an eye earlier this year and this large mirror enables me to see traffic coming on both right and left sides of the car. Very useful and practical for anyone with concerns of blind spots when changing lanes. Would not want to drive without it.

Panoramic Rearview Mirror
I thought I was going to have neck surgery resulting in fusion of several levels of my neck. This would have limited neck movement greatly. With this mirror I would still have been able to drive my car becasue it provided the panoramic view. I did not have to have surgery at this time but I may leave the mirror on the car because it also rids the car of some of the blind spots. It has a difference image so it will take some getting use to inorder to judge the depth of the image you are seeing in the mirror.
Good Product.
Definitely allows a bigger picture rear/side of traffic. However it does not work on drivers side blind spot. Placement of headrest in car completely blocks view from mirror. One other con: it covers the compass on my rearview mirror. But still makes driving more comfortable.
Get the full picture
Product is easy to install and gives a full clear image. Increases ability to see all lanes and greater distances.
Only con: May be too large for use in small cars. May interfere with use of sun visors.
Great product but not compatible
I bought this for my dad who owns a 2012 Toyota Avalon but it didnt fit. His rearview mirror was too thick, mainly because his rearview mirror had to accommodate the rearview camera that was built into it. I liked how the width is adjustable but the depth wasnt. People who have regular rearview mirrors would probably find this product very useful.
Rear View Mirror
I bought this mirror for my husband but since having it, I feel safer in checking it before lane changes. It really expands your view of the vehicles around you before changing lanes. We still look over our shoulder but looking first using the mirror, is our first safe indication to even consider changing lanes. Towing our boat to the beach just got a lot easier!
This mirror is a life saver!
I was in a horrific car crash on Christmas eve 2014, and now I want to be able to see what is behind me without taking my eyes to the passenger side mirror. All I have to do is turn my eyes ( not my whole head) up and I see what is in the "blind spot" and everyting else. This is a life saver !!!!!!!!!
Not for Mirrors with Built in Cameras
The mirror works great, but my car (RAV4) has the rear view camera screen built into the mirror. So, if you cover the mirror with the product, you cannot use your review view camera. Besides this, it is a great product.

Want to increase your driving safety? this mirror helps.
I got this mirror to improve my driving skills. It helps me know what is going on in lanes on either side of my car. Cars following me appear as they actually are (meaning you can tell exactly how far behind the vehicle they are). As a somewhat elderly (73 yrs) driver, I felt I needed the added security of being able to see on all sides in traffic. I have not been disappointed.

I love it
I bought this about a year ago and it does what its suppose to do. Although this summer i came out to find my mirror had fallen off the windshield and was laying on my seat. Not a problem though chevys are known for that already so its no big deal. easy fix for a window shop. All 5 of my vehicles have one in them.

Simple But Perfect
This was easy to mount to my rear-view and does exactly what you would think. Expands my rear view. It would be great for keeping an eye on the kids as well.
Mighty wide
I always wanted a panoramic mirror, and this one certainly does the job. It does take some getting use to --- youre just not used to seeing so much, and the distance from your car to other objects is a little different than with the rear view mirror that comes with the car. I am very happy with this purchase but for one thing: when I want to use my visor, because the sun is in my eyes, lowering the visor blocks out probably 2/3rd of what you can see in the mirror. Thats significant. So I find myself not using my visor as much as I would normally, because I dont want to lose all that rear view vision.

one size fits all does NOT fit all cars
This one size fits all rear view mirror extender did not come even close to fitting onto my 2010 Toyota Prius. I returned the mirror and had to pay for the shipping of this incorrectly advertised product. I will think seriously before buying from Sharper Image again.

Helps elimate "blind spot"
I own a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee without "blind spot alert" and dealer cant add that feature. This mirror is the best alternative I have found.

Driver safety
Adjustable and very useful for stadium seating in cars. Can use only this mirror because it sees more than the side mirrors. Very driver friendly and safe. At night can see out back window even though tinted.

This is the perfect item to those of us with a large blind spot when driving an SUV and must drive in 4 to 6 lanes of traffic moving at 60 to 80 mph. Just returning from my visit to Marietta, Ga., I found this mirror a tremendous help. I will "never leave home without it"! This product is a great invention and certainly a good deal cheaper than buying a new car!
Conquer the blind spot
Bought two, one for car and one for truck. It really helps see behind you and overcome most of the blind spot, especially on four lane highways. Wish it could have been a longer panoramic view to both sides but that may have made it too heavy.

My previous wide angle mirror was attached to my existing mirror with velcro strips. Hot TX sun did a number on the velcro. This one fits on existing mirror and there is no way sun or snow would dislodge it. No shimmy or shake while driving.

My convertible has bad blind spots. It snapped on without a problem. This mirror takes some time getting use to, but it really helps. I am pleased.

Wider views but not good for our needs
This is an excellent product that gives a better view of the road. But in my case I returned it because it did not block night headlights as well as my original mirror. It allowd too much of the headlights to come thru. Even my regular mirror allows too much light for my needs, but the panoramic mirror blocked less. Night vision is my big issue.
In my wifes case, we returned her mirror because the curve of the mirror reversed the correction made by the prism in her glasses, i.e. she began seeing double images with the panoramic mirror.
A needed product
My Wife reciently lost her RIGHT eye. This mirror works well, and lets her drive with more confidence as with this mirror her left eye can now see her blind right side without having to turn her body completely sideways to check her right side.
The Mirror is stable, clear and does not block your forward view at all. I like it when I drive her car also.
Dads birthday present.
My dad has difficulty turning his head. This gives him full views of everything around him. He said it installed easily & he likes the cautions of how to gauge the distances of images in the mirrors for safe driving. Im going to get him one for his other vehicle too.

The Long Mirror
Item is a rear view mirror. Every car should have one. It is hard for me to turn my head and with this mirror I do not have to try to turn it so much. It should be in the car when you buy it.
