Great gadget!
This is a great, easy to use, gadget that I was happy to come across. Its perfect for large parking lots at malls and arenas. It can go anywhere, is accurate, and the backlight makes nighttime viewing easy. Perfect little gadget/gift for about anyone!
Lost my car in an unfamiliar hospital parking garage.
When I have a list of 10 places I have to go and several things to purchase at each place, not trying to remember where I parked my car is such a big relief
By the time Im finished shopping, Im ready to get to the car and go home, not wander around the parking lot looking for my car !!!
Accurate but slow satellite link up
This device works accurately, but its very slow to link up with satellite. Bought this device so that I can easily find my car in parking lot of large sports stadium, arena, etc. It did the job but I had to wait a long time while the device located the satellite in order to mark the position. Also this is a bulky device contrary to what the image shows.
Best gift I ever give to my self
I use my GPS all the time when I go to the mall and save a lot of time because dont expend 20 minutes looking for my car and home its a life time saver ,now I found my keys in a hurry in the morning and never be late for work any more.

Fantastic
This was a gift for my mom...who has loses her car when shopping More times than not. Mom is afraid of all "techy" gadgets, but this is super easy to use, even for her. Highly recommended. Our friends and relatives are asking where they can get one. Wonderful idea.

I was losing my car in the parking lot and this way i have no problem when the mall is crowded. i am terrible with directions i know that of myself and this device helps me save time finding my car and other things. i wish i would of had this product sooner when i had to memerize where my car was or what trail i was taking; so i get back to where i started. now I do not have to worry. It is great when I spend three day driving to New York and in different hotels every night. when I take my dog for a walk I do not have to worry about keeping the hotel in site.

New technology to use in Ecuador
My wife and I are missionaries in Ecuador. Sometimes we go to remote Indian areas in the jungle or mountains. Ecuador has a large variety of challenging geography. We plan to use this personal GPS locator to be sure we can find our way back to base camp any time we hike out to do medical work in a village. We usually have reliable guides but this will give us additional confidence.

As the crow flies
Havent used it that much yet. Might be good when snowmobiling but only shows you how to get back as the crow flies meaning you might have to go around a lake or structure to get to where you want to go.

Helpful Product
Gave this to a friend who is a surveyor and it will be extremely helpful to him while out in the field surveying property. I think this unit is great for anyone who needs assistance getting from one point to the other but it would be nice if the instructions were a little more clear. I just gave it to my friend so he is still learning to use it but the first time we opened it and tried to test it things did not work like they should. Im sure the unit is fine and will work great once he gets accustomed to it but the instructions are not the best or the easiest to follow that Ive seen.

I am a granny who uses the web and my maps on iphone with regularity.
I was in a place recently not mapped by Google or Apple maps. I got lost several times on an extensive wilderness campus. (easy rescue but had to ask a person) I sure could have used this then! Try it out at home first. It does NOT work like phone apps so be sure to become familiar with it before setting out in uncharted territory!

Especially usefull in large malls or plces you are unfamilliar with.
Works but....
Much larger than the pic actually shows. No way Id have this on a key ring because Id have to fit a lot in my pocket. Best use for me: keep in car. When I park in a huge parking lot, set it to remember location and just carry in a pocket and use to remember where I parked.
Its a good brand, should e reliable, seems well made and functions fairly well. Re function, there are times the compass seems to have a mind of its own and will point
off in what seems to be any random direction, but it gets the yards to the car right.
Just what I needed!
This works great for me, I have trouble walking and when shopping at huge malls its easy to lose your car. When every step you take is painful, this baby really came in handy. It also would be great for camping hiking which I plan on doing one day again. I love to fish and with this device Id have no trouble getting back to camp.

Parking lots at Christmas time.
Slow start
I havent used this very much yet, but I expect to use it more on my travels. Heres the negative: when you turn on the device, you have to get a good satellite reading and you are supposed to move the device in a big figure 8 several times in order to do so. It seems to take my device a long time. Because my SO was in a hurry, we were a block from the hotel before I finally got a satellite lock, or whatever you call it, on the location. This seems to be the only negative. After getting the location set, it was fine. It tells you how far away you are from the hotel and in which direction the hotel is. Gives a nice feeling of security.

GPS Marker Works but slow to lock
Product is simple to use which is good, but due to length of time to lock onto signal, not super useful unless your on a hike or camping.
