Mangroomer review
The machine is constructed of a rubberized body and has a nice solid feel. It has an extra long handle that slides to different lengths with a control button on the left side. The cutting blade is extra wide and shaves smooth. Battery life is good after 9 shaves to date without recharge. Would buy again.

Great alternative to expensive, painful back waxes! This product, and the actual hair removal procedure takes very little time, requires no skill, and basically pays for itself in just a few uses. Gets to the hard to reach areas easily. Has longer arm than most back shavers. Trims and grooves very nicely. Back is smooth after each shave. Great product.

After trying multiple angles, grips and positions, I got most of the hair off my back. Once you find the sweet spot angle it will remove hair with no other complications. It just took me longer than I wanted.

After seeing a segment on a national talk show where they featured a very large hairy man whose wife was tired of his hairy back. They presented him with a product almost identical to yours (perhaps it was!) and sent the man back stage with the challenge of trying to shave his back by himself, within the 40 or so minutes left of the hour broadcast. To the surprise of everyone in the audience, he returned and revealed a baby smooth back not only without the hair, but also without the usual scratches and abbrassions that occur whiule trying to reach impossible areas with tools that are not designed to do so.

I am a unusually hairy individual and have always been embarrassed to take my shirt off when on my numerous vacations to Hawaii. Now that I have this product I wont be afraid to take my shirt off after a round of golf or on a stroll on the beach with my girls. I dont know if it is possible to take anymore vacations than I already have, but I am sure going to try so I can show off my nicely shaved back to all the ladies!
Back shaver
You need two mirrors to see what you are doing. It doesnt hurt and its easy to use but to cover all the spots, you need a second mirror to check you removed everything you want. I would suggest you use it in the shower without the water running because youll drop a lot of hair and in the shower it makes for easy clean up.
Just what I needed
This was indeed exactly what I needed. I have desired to shave my back for decades and in recent years the desire increased. However, I had no means of doing so until now. My back is not very hair at all but the hair grows in patches and just isnt attractive. I didnt want to wax and this happened to be the perfect solution. I can now do it myself and no longer have to worry about my wifes rejection from when I have asked her to do it in the past.

I was surprised by how well it worked and how easy it was to use.
It works!
I followed the directions and charged the unit for 18-24 hours before first using it. It took a little getting used to (to make sense of the different angles) but it worked perfectly (and I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I purchased it). Importantly, unlike shaving, there is no temporary discomfort in the following several days. I only expect to use it perhaps 3 times a year -- but Im glad to have it.

Exceeded Expectations
Having tried for years to find a product that did at least a passable job in controlling back body hair, I was overwhelmingly impressed with this back hair shaver. On the very first use, it exceeded in performance and comfort any and every similar product previously tried. The rechargeable battery holds enough charge for more than one "removal" session and the cutting head provides a surprisingly comfortable and complete shave-like result. Definitely a "keeper" product.

Wow! Fifteen minutes out of the box (it came charged) and I have that "swimmers body" look. Granted, its a 56-year-old, corpulent, +40lb beer gut, man-boobed swimmers body but, hey... my back is hairless! :) Seriously, this product performs flawlessly. Some minor redness (you are scraping steel teeth over typically unattended skin areas... what do you expect?) that disappears in 10 minutes. You are left with a remarkable result. I shave my face with a straight razor and am reasonably informed on hair removal. The ManGroomer does a GREAT job with those hard-to-reach areas. The multi-angle joint and handle extension get you where you need to go. Want a hairless back? Shop no further.

At first, I thought it would be difficult to use because of working behind the back and not getting a good angle to cut. It is very well constructed and trims easily regardless of the angle. I have been impressed so far!

While I have used it only once so far, this razor exceeded my expectations. It was easy to use and did its job perfectly. It takes a bit to get used to its most effective angle but once achieved it does exactly what it purports to do.
Exactly what I was hoping for
Ive found nothing more effective for manscaping those hard to reach areas. Very lightweight, yet has a very high-quality feel. Trims much closer to the skin than I thought it would, yet no cuts or pinching whatsoever. Shaves close enough to eliminate visibile stubble. Highly impressed and worth every penny.

I have had moderate hair growth on my back since my early 20s. I am now in my early 60s so this was a welcome find. Until now I have had to have someone else, (my girlfriend) shave my back for me. We dont live together so that is sometimes hard to manage. With this product I have been able to keep this back hair problem in check all by myself. I love being able to do it myself, when I need it done. Back hair to me is itchy and unsightly when at the pool or beach. I would recommend it to any man who has this problem and wants a sure fire remedy for it. It took me a few minutes to learn how to get the blade to ride evenly on my back, but I have it down pat now and it is very easy to handle.
A fantastic invention!
This thing is awesome! Its not exactly one of those things that you want to go shopping for, or ask someone to get for you. I cant stand having a hairy back, and it is REALLY hard to reach back there if youre doing it yourself. This invention is very cool---the handle telescopes and bends so that you can stand there and just put it behind you, over your shoulder, and shave away. It shaves very close, and does not leave "stubble". It is SO NICE to have a clean back again, and it only took about 15 minutes this time. Normally with a regular razor it took about 45 minutes. No more! Thank you to whoever invented this!

Never again will I have to attempt waxing and consider the Mangroomer my new 3rd arm solely for my back hair.... The shavers arm is huge and adjusts to any size you want so you can reach all spots of your back. I use a mirror with it and in the bathroom.

The only product Ive seen to specifically address back hair. Seems to work very well but requires some practice to direct the clipper to all affected areas of the back.

I have been going to Lazer hair removal for my back and its just to expensive. Plus my back hair grew back so Lazer hair treatment doesnt work for me? But with the new back shaver it does a great job and its cheaper than paying thousands of dollars for Lazer hair treatment.

Fulfilled every expectation
I couldnt be more pleased with the Mangroomer. I was seriously considering other hair removal applications. But when I saw this one, I gave it a try and I am thoroughly pleased. I know why youre looking at this, we are tired of being accused of clogging the pool filter and the Sasquatch jokes are getting old. This thing works, Its easy, reaches everywhere and when youre done it doesnt look like your cat used your back as a scratching post. I hate my back hair. Especially self conscious about it at the beach, pool, or in other shirtless settings. I bought and paid for rush delivery with assumption (not to mention more expensive shipping fees) of "delivery for fathers day" guarantee. Didnt happen. No longer bushy back
Difficult to use the first time until I got used to being somewhat of a contortionist. Also, removing the heavy back hair the first time was like mowing a drastically overgrown lawn. I have now used it four times and it works well. It would help if I had better mirrors.

Gift for husband and worked as intended. After cleaning it, we let a young female relative with limited mobility use it to shave legs. It shaved without hurting her skin and best of all, allowed her to easily and independently reach areas of her lower legs that her condition has prevented her from getting to (without help) for the last four years. She wants one of her own. Gave it four stars because it is new and we do not yet know its durability or longevity.

YES!! So happy I stumbled across this. I was a bodybuilder and used to clean shaven body but have been looking for an alternative to "waxing" for years. This shaver did the trick. Love that it clicks into different positions and does not feel clumsy to use. (Other than Im not so good left handed). Nice clean, easy shave but not so close it leaves itchy stubble after a few days. Not sure on battery life as I just bought it but appears very good quality for the price.

The Mens Electric Back Hair Shaver has turned out to be a really good item for me. I have minimal hair on my back but it is not enough to get expensive waxing. And, other hair removal products have not worked well. But, this item got rid of all the hair! It takes a little "maneuvering" to hit all areas. But, once you get the hang of it, it works really well! Couldnt be happier to finally solve this problem!

Got it from my wife last month and wanted to write a review to say thank you to the designers. The Mangroomer is genius and one suggestion for other users is to keep the handle shorter for the upper back, longer for the lower back. My second tip, I would use it in front of the mirror to see all areas.
Skeptical at first
As a guy with more hair on his back then on his head, boating and beaching are no longer embarrassments. Once duct taped a razor and electric shaver to a back scratcher, was glad when I saw this product and thought why not give it a shot. Works great!

Well, upon ordering I was not sure how well this would work but i decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did! I have been using my hair clippers to trim other areas but it def left more than stubble. I tried this and was truly AMAZED at how close to the skin it cuts my hair. I have never seen a razor cut this close. I am super impressed. I really have nothing bad to say about it at this point, and i also like the wide razor as well. Def cant go wrong buying this!

Finally! A back shaver that actually works! Its great for combatting my "gorilla back", and even though Im going about the shave in stages, its far better than anything else Ive purchased for my problem.
