I have previously written a review of the S.I.s "Telescoping Fog Free Shower Mirror," which is very poorly engineered and by no means worth the $100 price tag. However, this mirror is worth the price. This is the 3rd "Heated Fog Free Shower Mirror" I have bought from the S.I. over the past 20 years. A hot shower to soak your whiskers, a rich shaving cream, a fresh razor and this mirror will give you the best shave youve ever had.

I had a very old plastic ShowerTek model that finally broke after many years. It wasnt in stock anywhere, so I decided to splurge on the Sharper Image model. Im really glad I did!
It works far better and I like the fact that it recirculates the water going through the mirror. The surface area of the mirror is nice and large as well.
I would recommend 100%
I had an older version and the water flowed through it and dripped out the bottom which reduced the water pressure from the shower head. This is not the case with this version. It works great.
Great product that works!
Weve had this exact same mirror in our master bath for the last several years, which is why were purchasing another one for our second bath. The mirror is very attractive and has held up very well. Its easy to install, and its truly fogless.

Best shower mirror ever
One of these was in our house when we bought it. It was several years old when we moved in and then i used it for five more years before it began to leak. I looked around and there were no mirrors that reviews claimed stayed fog free or did not fall of the wall. So i bought this one again and am thrilled. It makes shaving quick, easy an d safe.

I bought the like 9 years ago and it has worked great, just a few months back a part started leaking and I tried to fix it but broke it instead. This was my fault. I Morrow does work great for all you shower shavers.
Best shower mirror ever
We bought this exact mirror over 15 years ago and it works great. It never fogged up and stayed clean. We had to purchase another one now because our last one started leaking where it attaches to the shower. We love it and hope this one last for 15 years too.

Best heated fog free mirror available
This mirror is a replacement for another brand that I used in the shower for years that was leaking. The Sharper Image mirror is larger, heavier, better constructed, and has a 3X magnification mirror as well as regular mirror. It is easily installed and is far superior to the mirror that was replaced in quality, which was apparent as soon as it came out of the box. It is costly, but worth the expense.
Doesnt attach like in the picture.
While the shower mirror looks nice, it does not alighn well when attached to the water line. The gooseneck ends up on top thereby making the mirror too high.
Heated fog-free shower mirror
The mirror was very easy to install. It remains fog free and works as promised. IT is one of the better looking mirrors on the market. IT is sturdy and appears that it will last quite a long time. The only negative comment is that the mounting bracket is so large, that once affixed, you cannot maneuver your shower head very much. I have difficulty pointing the head in the direction I want it now as easily as before. Its minor but if they made the connection site smaller that would resolve this issue. No other complaints. My husband loves it.

The mirror was extremely easy to install & works perfectly. Finally, after many other purchases, a mirror that Never fogs! Love the attachment to hold your razor. Also like the option of a magnification mirror. That makes this mirror useful to both my husband And me.

Heated Fog Free Mirror
For use in the shower. Razor constantly falls out because the opening is wider at the bottom. Called to have a replacement and never received a response. Said I would receive a return label to exchange the product, The individual I spoke with was not very professional.
Best mirror ever!
The first Sharper Image Heated Mirror I had lasted 6 years sadly my water is very hard and it broke. I tried to order a new one but it was discontinued. I used three other brands all were cheap and lasted only several months. Fortunately Sharper Image started to carry them again! The only bad thing about this heated mirror is the shaver holder does not fit my razor, otherwise it is a great mirror!
Crystal clear image
Bought one of these awhile back for my husband. We have been so pleased with it that I ordered one for my son-in-law as a gift. This mirror is the only one Ive found that is totally fog free. And it installs on your shower head in just a few minutes. Its a little pricey, but worth it because you will never need another one.

Best Fog Free Mirror Ever!!! Really!!!
Years ago I bought a Sharper Image Fog Free Mirror that worked great but it finally broke. So Ive been on the hunt for another fog free mirror to replace it. Ive gone through numerous fog free mirrors recently only to find they didnt work like the original mirror I bought years ago from Sharper Image. I bought the supposed best one on ebay for over $100 and not only did it NOT work, it broke when I was trying to adjust it after about 1 week of use. I thought I must have got a defect so I tried again and paid another $100+. Still didnt work at all, as far as being fog free, so I bought another supposedly fog free mirror on ebay and it didnt work either. This time not only did it fog up but the water pressure was cut down so much I could barely get the shampoo out of my hair. So I went back to the second one I bought on ebay and would throw water on it to get the fog off. Then I came across the Sharper Image Fog Free Mirror and decided to give it a try. First one was plastic and lasted 35-or more years before the plastic started to crack.The mirror was fine the fitting and line cracked. Was surprised at the cost of second one, but its a bigger mirror and two sided also stainless steel. I bought this for my husband after we had our shower redone with glazed porcelain that the previous stick-on mirrors he was using wouldnt stick to. He loves it! It was easy to install and the ingenious no fog method of cycling the hot water through the back of the mirror works perfectly. If your shower head is really high, though, the mirror might not extend down far enough. My husband is 510" and the hose is stretched out almost straight for him to see well.
He likes the mirror so much, Im going to get one for our son-in-law and son for Christmas.

Im about to replace my original Sharper Image mirror that was installed in 1992 with a new one. Its still going strong but its days are numbered especially because its made of plastic! Too bad they cant figure out some way to make a travel mirror that would work on trips. Youll never go back to shaving in front of a mirror over a sink once you start using this. One of the best inventions ever...

Excellent Shower Mirror
I like the design because the water does not dribble out the bottom. Ive had it up for about two weeks now, and it performs well, i.e. it does not fog up. The quality of the mirror itself is excellent, as if were actually made of galss. (surely it is not glass, considering that it is being used in the shower) Installation was a bit tricky. I needed far more teflon tape than supplied (fortunately, I have my own roll of this) It took three tries before getting enough teflon tape on the pipe to where it did not leak. And then the mirror ended up on the left side of the shower arm - I would have preferred the right side - but Ive adjusted to having it on the left. At that point it was so tight Im sure I could not have turned it enough to get it on the right side of the shower arm. The instructions say you can adjust the location by varying the amount of teflon tape, but considering the effort I had gone thru to get to where it did not leak, I just decided to "leave it where it landed".
Bottom line:

I had one of these many years ago and it worked great. Due to the price I replaced it with 2 cheap ones and that is what they were...cheap. Now I am back with what really does work and is durable when cleaning. It does not scratch like cheap ones do.
Best (and only decent) Fogless Mirror
There are a couple other fogless mirrors, and yes, I purchased them first because they were a little cheaper, but that was a mistake. This is the only mirror IMO that does exactly what it advertises. I bought this initially in 1999 at Costco and it lasted 8-9 years. I just got this one (now branded Sharper Image) and its the real deal. So happy to be able to shave in my shower without the (fogging, leaking, limp mirror, and on and on).

Great mirror, the price paid is well worth it. Weve purchased mirrors in the past from BBB on average a cost of $40.00, none were fog-free. The money spent on this product has been well worth it so far!

Worth the price
Ive wanted one of these for a very long time, but hesitated due to the price. I shopped around for similar but cheaper models but they just seemed low quality.
I finally splurged and ordered the Sharper Image and Im so glad I did. The design is solid, the product is sturdy and I can tell it will last. It improves the look of the shower instead of cheapening it.
About the only thing I wish is that hotels would install them, as I travel quite a bit and will miss it while traveling.

MY HUSBAND HAD THIS MIRROR IN THE PAST AND IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR A WHILE. IT IS GOING TO MAKE A PERFECT FATHERS DAY GIFT FOR HIM. HE HAS GONE THROUGH SO MANY OTHER MIRRORS THAT HAVE NOT WORKED AS WELL AS THIS ONE.
Perfect Shower mirror
Ive owned this mirror for years, having one in the master baths at both my homes. There is no better way to shave than using this mirror in the shower. Sharper Image used to sell a cheaper plastic version but it didnt last. The stainless version will last for years. Im replacing one of the mirrors that was torn up when renovating our bath.

This is such a great idea !! I gave this to my husband for Christmas and it seems to work out great! The only thing I wish was different was that it came with a gasket instead of the Teflon tape to avoid leaks. He has to try installing twice because the tape didnt stay in place. Overall a great investment from what I have seen so far.
Should have bought this a long time ago
Ive had this mirror on my wish list for a long time, but I was deterred by the high price. But when my old, annoying, constantly fogging shower mirror finally fell on the bathroom floor and broke just before Christmas, I decided to treat myself to this mirror for Christmas. Im glad I did, and I wish I had done it sooner.
The installation was very easy. If you can work a wrench, you can do it.
The mirror works as advertised. Not a drop of fog. It makes shaving so much easier. I can actually see what Im doing for a change and I am not constantly wiping the mirror clean. In fact, I dont have to wipe this mirror at all, ever.
Ill say again the only con is the price, but in the end I dont mind paying for something truly innovative that is both durable and works well. I wish I had thought of it, but I didnt, so the genius who did should be rewarded.
So go ahead and grumble that it should be cheaper, and then just grit your teeth and hit the BUY button. Youll be glad you did.
Nothing correct so far
Love the concept, but product durability & construction is very poor. Customer service though is my real gripe. Ive paid for four of these over the last decade as S.I. is the only maker. They dont last. Recently, upon buying a new one, the hook for the razor broke in one day, and you made me ship the whole thing back instead of sending me a 10 cent piece. I received a replace finally yesterday after weeks, and its faulty. Ive tried to reach cust. svc for two days, no reply. Ive about had it, shame on you. Will keep this to myself for now if resolved; otherwise its time for blog bashing.

I use the shaper image fogless mirror everyday while shaving. Works as advertised - best in class. This fogless mirror gives you the "best bang" for your buck. Only issue is it does not have the flow control valve like the original.
Its the real deal!
This is the real deal, I learned the hard way, I first ordered a cheaper brand from another web site and that was very flimsy and did not work as promised. I returned that product to order the Sharper Image brand and what a difference! I only wish it could come in brushed silver or other finishes chrome is not my #1 choice in bath fixtures. Also the hole for the shaver is too small to accommodate the newer models of shavers, I suggest a hook design might be better where you can slide in a shaver.

I used this product for seven years and enjoyed it every day. It worked perfectly, cleaned up well, and was a pleasure to use. If you want a fog free shower mirror that is constructed well and is truly fog free, this is your mirror. My new home has bronze finish fixtures and despite the fact that this only comes in chrome, I intend to install one as soon as we move in.

This attaches easily to the shower pipe, no plumber needed. The water flows inside the mirror keeping it the same temperature as your shower so it wont fog up.
The mirror was broken upon arrival, but a quick connect to online chat and SI arranged for a new one to be sent out. They insisted I NOT send the old one back to prevent injury to others. Great service!
I would have preferred a few inches more on the gooseneck, by the time youve bent it off to the side, away from the shower stream, it ends up being a little high and I had to tilt it downwards so I could see.

My Husband uses this product in the shower to shave by. He likes to shave when the water and his skin is really warm/hot. He had 1 before and it lasted for years and years and years and he used it every day in the shower. This is our 2nd one and he still loves it and uses it daily. Its a great product, and it works perfectly. The mirror NEVER fogs up and its got the stronger magnification on the one side that he loves as well. We tried another brand once and it was awful, it did not even begin to compare to product. We would recommend this product to any and everyone. Its well worth the cost, we love it.

Hands down the Best shower mirror
My wife gave me one of these several years ago as a gift and I must admit I was skeptical at first but this thing really works. Never deal with a fogged up mirror in the shower again and there is nothing to do, no water to add or sprays to use, it just works.
Only downside I may have is that after about 6 years the seals where the mirror connect to the flexible shaft started to leak but hey, it was after 6 years and things dont last forever. Just ordered my replacement and it works just as great as the first.

This mirror installs easily and quickly and works great (truly no fog). Plus, no fear of suction cups failing and it falling off the wall.
If there is a con, and it may not be depending who you are and how tall or short you and your shower head is - the flexible arm could be a bit longer so there would be more options of how to position the mirror.
But, all-in-all, this is the shower mirror Ive been looking for the past 3 years.

This is my second mirror. I bought a replacement after 10 years (and 4 moves), when it started leaking. I love this mirror, as it makes shaving so much easier! Only down side, the new one didnt come with the detachable light. ??? That comes in handy if you dont have a light over the shower, or a dark shower curtain.

I have purchased only Shower-tek shaving mirrors for years. It is by far the best and easiest to use. Any time Ive fallen for other brands "never fogs up" or "all you have to do is add hot water" Ive been very disappointed. This new generation of Shower-Teks mirror is even better and clearer. Dont waste your money on the others. Buy this one and you wont regret it. I own two, home and vacation home.

My 1st one lasted about 10-12 years, this is a true fog-free mirror. Easy to clean. Never had any problems and when the shaver hold broke (my fault - dropped it), the store replaced without charge. Yes, for those old enough they had brick and mortar stores, Palo Alto, it was fun place to go.

I had this exact mirror many years ago. It lasted well over 10 years before I moved and did not take it with me. Ive bought several less expensive alternatives and they all sucked compared to this. So I reentry splurged and spent the big bucks to buy this again. Boy am I glad I did! This is a quality mirror with absolutely no fog no matter how steamy my shower gets. I never have to wipe it off to see well enough to shave. The gooseneck arm keeps this mirror in place exactly where Ive placed it. Real metal connector to the shower arm, not cheap chromed plastic. Beautiful finish. Worth every dollar.

The installation was very simple, came with everything i needed had the mirror tightin in the proper position. Glad the instructions included a part in it on how to re-align so mirror was in proper position.
Only con I have is that the razor holder was not big enough to hold a razor that has a battery in it, the circle needs to be a little bigger...

This Fog-Free Mirror Works Great!
I like to shave in the shower. For years, I had been doing it without a mirror which caused me to have to touch up my shaving at the sink after the shower. That is not good since my skin was no longer properly lathered for a shave. With this Fog-Free Mirror I can easily shave in the shower and make sure I do it well the first time.
Installation was very easy. It just took a couple of minutes. It is good that the pipe threads are made out of metal instead of plastic. The metal pipe threads will last for years and years. Included with your mirror is enough pipe thread tape for the install so no trip to the hardware store is necessary. (TIP: Put the pipe thread tape on CLOCKWISE.)
All in all, I am very glad that I purchased this Fog-Free Mirror. It has definitely made my morning shower shave much more enjoyable.

This mirror replaces another that broke after about ten years. This mirror is really great. It circulates hot water from the shower head on the back of the glass mirror, which eliminates fogging. It then puts the water back into the shower head, so there is no dripping. The mirror never fogs and has great image quality. The flexible mounting hardware allows the mirror to be positioned where convenient, and it stays firmly in place. Just be sure to wipe the mirror surfaces after each use to avoid water spots.

Got for my husband as a Christmas gift, he loves it, now he can shave in the shower and doesnt have to worry about the mirror fogging up!
Bought as a gift
This has not been used yet because it is a Christmas gift but it is just what my 88 yr old father wants for Christmas. It looks very nice and sturdy. It looks very easy to use. Hope it proves itself well.

I have had similar products, but this is the best.I like the fact that the water is recirculated within the mirror, so water pressure from the shower head is not diminished.It appears to be quite durable, not flimsy like other products out there.Im looking forward to many happy years of using it.

Great product but little expensive
I had a similar item that I had over 10 years until the threaded plastic housing broke. This design is SS and much better construction so I hope to get longer life. Once you shave in the shower you cant go back so being able to find another was a life saver. Would recommend this unit over any of the cheaper brands if price is not object.

Excellent Heated Fog-Free Shower Mirror. The mirror is blemish free and easy to install. This is a maintenance free mirror.
Works perfectly as promised.
Fog free shower mirror works as promised. It is such a nice break from the cheap suction cup mirrors that fog up and fall off off the wall constantly. Easy to install, but it would be nice if it came with a bit more plumbing tape. We simply screwed off our shower head, wrapped a bit of the included plumbing tape on the end, screwed in the mirror and then screwed back on the shower head. Easy Peasy. We did have a bit of leaking around the installation site, so we had to add a bit more plumbing tape. We only received about 4 inches with the mirror so we had to pick more up. Other than that very minor issue - it is perfect.
