Review Content I bought two to replace one that was over 10 years old. Our son bought us the meat marinator over ten years ago and has worked great, but the rubber grommet on top of the lid, that removes the air from the container wore out. We bought two new ones so that we could marinate more meats at one time for large BBQs. Great product. "Love This Product" I love using this product to JERK my meats and fish. This product allows the favor to be absorbed into the food quickly. I am purchasing another for my kitchen. Just love this meat marinator the best ! great tenderizer !!!! love it. Works Great! Marinates beef, chicken or pork very well. Nice size and easy to use. Daughter in law loves this Daughter in law asked for her birthday. She and my son have very busy schedules with little time for cooking. She was delighted that it worked so quickly and they could marinate meat they had bought on the way home for dinner that night. Worked well..Wish it was bigger It did a nice job on 4 New York Steaks I BBQd. Was somewhat disappointed when I tried to use it on a small Rib Roast, and it would not fit. Its also easy to clean and store. However, when Im not using it to marinate meats, Im storing my coffee beans to keep them as fresh as possible and it does an excellent job. This is my second one in 6 years! The first one I used at least 2 times per week. But recently pumped the air out too much and it cracked! Love the way it infuses the taste from the Marinades. Useful product I frequently marinate meat, chicken and salmon, and was eager to try this item. The pump seems robust, and the container holds the vacuum well. The size of the container permits me to use it even on small roasts. The convex bottom, however, is a puzzlement. The marinade runs to the edges. A flat, heavily textured bottom would be far superior for this purpose. The shetchy instructions give no guidelines on how long to marinate various items. (I left a roast in there an hour. Seemed OK.) On balance tho, it seems to be a well made unit, and well worth the price. love my marinator!! I have used mine four or five times now. I love the way the chicken comes out just after a few hours in the marinator! Its juicy and really has the flavor of the marinade all the way through it! I also like the design, doesnt take up to much room in my fridge. first time user is happy I used this once to marinate chicken several hours before grilling. Not only does it infuse your food with flavor, but it also helps keep it juicy and moist. If mine were to break, I would probably replace it immediately.
