I really wanted this product to work. The software installed fine, but the unit would not communicate with my computer. I followed the instructions, tried it on three different computers with no success.

The unit is high quality, but manual is lacking in clarity. The display is lit ALL the time that the unit is powered from AC power - there is no way to dim it, which would save power and back-light life. Also, it is difficult to tell if the transmitter is working - as the transmitter LED status blinks VERY intermittently. It obviously works, because the base unit gets updated with current weather information (but VERY slowly). So trying to figure out if the transmitter is working - is challenging.

Vivid, easy to read display, but way too bright for the bedroom. The only way to dim the display is by using the 4 batteries and the snooze alarm, so we moved it to the kitchen. Perfect solution. Stays plugged in instead of using battery juice, and lights up the kitchen at night. Easy, accurate and functional. Very pleased !!!

Cool product! It's super easy to install and the display is easy to read. Links up with your PC so it's updated automatically. The full week forecast at a glance is great. I think I know what I'm getting my mom for christmas!
